Off to the burned land, the Methana Volcano in Kammeni Hora!

Only 20 minutes climbing and one feels like "on the Moon", surrounded by reddish ground and lava stones, entering the mysterious cave on top of the volcano.

What else does a human being need to survive?

Nothing, I think, when I follow the musician Gerlinde Katsoulieris from her home in Ligourio to her working place in Nafplio.

In Nafplio I meet the agronomist-photographer Vasilis Petris. He tells me about the cafes of the former Greek capital.

On my way back I buy the best bread in Epidauros from the bakery Kostopoulos...

One doesn't need to drive 45 minutes from Ligourio to Mycenae to be in a Mycenaean fortress - 10 minutes is enough!
