The monkey park is also known as the Bigilo forest park near Senegambia beach hotel.
It is a forest nearby Kololi where you can spot two out of three kinds of monkeys we have in the
Gambia and these are the green velvet monkey and the red Colobus which have red belly and
grey back and are always on the trees.
Bigilo forest park is also known for its accommodation to lots of bird species in the Gambia and
it is the only place where you have a real fun with the monkeys in the wild and if you stay in
Senegambia you don’t need no taxi it is 10 minute walk from your hotel.
