A busy couple of days since coming back home. With the forecast for a heatwave, we headed off to Llandanwg for a beach walk and then sunset at Harlech castle but Harlech hadn't got the memo about the sunny skies and kept us in cloud with a few spots of drizzle the whole time.

We stayed the night near Moel Eilio hoping to wake to better conditions but alas, more murkiness in the skies. Still we hiked up to the top and stopped off in Beddgelert afterwards for a gentle river stroll and coffee. Home and the sun has finally come out to play but I'm currently housebound until I dry off after the inevitable stinky dog dreaded bath!

Incoming trip report - have spent the most lovely four nights at my home from home Under the Willow with Lindsey. She's amazing!! Together we did some gardening, took a trip to see her family in Liverpool and had a day out in Llangollen. I also helped her to feed the chickens, pig and other animals.

We're getting to know each other really well and I've even managed to train her into letting me ride on the front seat of the car already (clipped in for safety of course!).

Thanks so much for looking after me so well Lindsey, and give your Dad another kiss from me! 😘😘

4am alarm to leave for Capel Curig in the hope of catching early sunlight on the bluebells. It was overcast! Still good for some nice springtime shots though - flat light can show off the subject quite nicely. After our early start, we headed to the Siabod Cafe for breakfast baps and coffee then drove down the Ogwen Valley but by around 9.30am all of the parking spaces were taken.

Picked up a click and collect order for Dad's new trousers then shuffled slowly home via Betws y Coed, Llangar Old Church (turns out not to be dog-friendly even though we've just checked and it says on CADW's page it is) and Berwyn Station to watch a steam train go by.

Escorting the parents to the polling station to place their vote this evening. I'm not allowed to vote, not because I'm too young but on account of me being a pooch. If I were able to put pooches in power, I would stand on the following policies:

🐾 Compulsory weekly steak dinners
🐾 Eight hours sleep time on the parents bed every night
🐾 Removal of tax on all dog toys and treats
🐾 Free swimming sessions for dogs, in properly heated pools
🐾 Three hour-long walks a day, as a minimum. One of which to be slow and sniffly

Whatever you do today and whichever box your cross ends up in, do go vote dear humans. It's a privilege.

We are having a homely weekend. A gentle stroll at Erddig to see the wild garlic in bloom and for Dad to do a little photography this morning then home for a bath! A bath?? I only had one two months ago, what were they thinking!

I thought you might all like to see some photos of my favourite subject: me! This time they are in black and white.

A return to baby Moel Eilio this weekend. It started with a Saturday evening stroll on the beach at Llandudno West Shore, meeting up with good friends. Then I got to try out my new sleeping bag for the first time for an overnight camp but I must say, I still prefer to share Mum and Dads.

In the morning, we met back up with our friends and headed up Moel Eilio, the children helped me along the way and were very generous with snacks, even 'dropping' a flapjack on the floor at one point which I quickly scooped up 😂😜

We took our time up the steep little mountain, everyone did fantastically well before returning home for some well-earned rest.

Love this little walk out and thankful for days out with friends like these 🥰
