Let’s get this party started!

I created this bright and cheerful birthday card during Sunday evening’s YouTube live, using two of my favourite products from the demonstrator pre-order.

My focus products are the Sunray Embossing Folder and the Candle Party Bundle. I love how the sunray lines draw your eye straight to the centre of the card, and the candles look so fun with their Silver Opal foil, which has a whole lot of shimmer and shine ✨

To create the background, I embossed Pool Party cardstock with the Sunray Embossing Folder, then blended Coastal Cabana ink from the centre working outwards in circles to highlight all those lovely lines. The flowers are from the Virtual Card Retreat Stamp Set, but you could add alternative flowers if you didn't have this set or perhaps some other elements such as a present or birthday hat.

Both the Sunray Embossing Folder and Candle Party Bundle will be available to customers on the 3rd of November.

Want to get your hands on them sooner? Demonstrators get early access to new products through pre-orders. Join with me before 31st October and you’ll receive £50 in Stampin’ Rewards in addition to the £125 coupon code, so for £95 you can add £175 of product to your basket! Message me or visit www.coastalcrafter.com to find out more.

⭐ One die set, two very different Christmas cards! ⭐

My Shining Stars Dies have arrived and I couldn’t wait to play! I created these two cards during Sunday evening’s YouTube live, using the same layered star window technique styled two ways.

Neutral Noel Paper brings soft golds and natural tones, with the little houses from Welcome Noel nestled inside the star. Perfect for a more grown-up or neutral look.

Timeless Christmas Paper frames the star in classic red and green holly, with the cutest deer, hedgehog and fox from Woodland Wishes peeking out. Ideal for family, children or anyone who loves a traditional Christmas.

The Shining Stars Dies are October’s Product of the Month, a set of 23 dies (some with stitched outlines) for just £5 when you spend £70, plus you’ll earn 10% in Stampin’ Rewards! It’s available whilst supplies last, so don’t miss out. Shop with me at www.coastalcrafter.com/shop

I’m sharing my card for this week’s Global Design Project colour challenge, featuring Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry. I love how warm and autumnal these colours look together, with that pop of teal to finish it off!

My focus products this week are the Sunflower 3D embossing folder paired with the new Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper. The fussy cut flowers look so pretty layered over the embossed sunflower background.

For a little extra texture and sparkle, I added some Calypso Coral and Copper Ribbon, Golden Glow Ribbon, Retired Gold Thread & some Sunset Sparkle Sequins

Why not play along? Create a project using this week’s colours, post it on Instagram or Facebook, mention Global Design Project and use the hashtag . I’d love to see what you make!

Stuck for ideas when you sit down to create? A sketch is the perfect jumping off point!

This week's Global Design Project challenge is a sketch, and here's my take on it. My focus products are from the Mosaic Garden Suite, including the ribbon! It started out as Hydrangea Hue and White, and I added Pretty Peacock Dark Stampin' Blends along the centre to coordinate it with the card and paper. It's such a simple way to customise ribbon to match your project.

Why not give the sketch a try? Share your creation, tag Global Design Project and use , and they'll share your post!
