I am attempting to bicycle around the world solo, self-assisted and COMPLETELY SELF FUNDED, in order to raise enough money that I can help in setting up a much needed sporting charity in Cambodia - "A Sporting Chance For All". The charity will aim to offer children in rural area's of Cambodia the possibility to learn English, sexual health and general well being in a safe and secure environment, w

hilst receiving professional sports coaching. The end goal being, to coach the children to a point by which they can become qualified coach's themselves, in order to be utilised within the charity, thereby helping to create a self-sustaining model!

1st of May 2017 when I set off to cycle around the world with no prior training, experience or knowledge!

Needless to say that having struggled to find my way out of Norwich, the rest of the trip was bound to be less than conventional or straight forwards hahaha.

I dare say it’s basically due to one Good Samaritan who had read my story & wanted to join me on the first leg that I managed to leave the city at all!

“Hey would you mind if I joined you for some miles!?”
“No not at all!”
“What route you taking?”
“I’ve not thought that far ahead, but you seem to know where you’re going! I’ll follow your lead”. Hahahaha

5 years ago - barely seems possible! One day I’ll share with you all the highs & lows, random meetings & shenanigans, but, in the meantime thanks to all those who supported me on my ride, wished me well or just showed an interest.

The calm before the storm!!! Then one almighty & beautiful storm in the shape of Full Moon party on Koh Phangan!

Pretty certain these were the same day, either way, two of my favourite travelling snaps, with some of my favourite humans!

One thing I do know is the second was moments after finding the lads I’d lost 2 hours earlier, so much love, relief, gratitude & appreciation!!!

Amongst 10,000 other people I’d managed to lose the boys before even getting to the beach, distracted by a beautiful blonde & a conversation around Branston pickle & Cathedral City Cheese haha.

Hard to believe how much has changed since then, I fu***ng love & miss all of you boys!

This time last year I was up in Sheffield working with the ridiculously talented on a headphone campaign - cheers for the ace images man!

10 or so years earlier, having failed my last year at Uni I ended up resisting one module the following year. Only to fail it again, therefore having to resist the exam again the same year, yet again I managed to fail my coursework & exam, however I apparently failed ‘slightly better’ this time round, at least sufficiently better to somehow graduate with a 3rd alongside my ginger amigos & - love you boys!!!! Think Tony Kay & Tony Barross just wanted rid of us Hahaha

These 10 blurry photos are probably one of my most memorable & incredible experiences whilst travelling, or in life in general! - 6 years ago yesterday.

I genuinely felt like I was physically within a documentary.

After about 30-40 minutes of snorkelling I was about to head back to shore, pretty knackered & cold, but before I could, this beautiful sea lion came swimming straight up to me, looked me in the mask & literally nodded at me as if to say “come on, let’s play!!!”

For at least the next 30 minutes (although it seemed much longer), this beautiful being & I just played, chasing, twisting, diving & frolicking in the water, there was literally no one else to be seen, just me & my new mate.

Any time I’d get within a stroking distance, she would just give the slightest flick (normally upside down) & would disappear 5 foot head of me, as if to say, come on human, this is too easy & it was. I did have a broken wrist at the time, but even with 6 functioning limbs I’d still not have come close!

For 30 uninterrupted minutes this beautiful, wild creature & I just played! I’d swam past & with other sea lions whilst in the Galapagos, but this was the first to genuinely take a real interest in me.

At one stage she swam to the sea bed & picked up a stick which she gently dropped / threw towards my location, I kid you not, she was like an underwater dog/acrobat/jet-fighter.

A truly truly incredible moment & memory I hope to always treasure & all because this beautiful, majestic, inquisitive & curious creature simply saw me as a playmate, a source of entertainment & an equal (well except for my swimming & breathing / panting - nearly drowning!) If only more humans, saw more animals the same!!!

People seem to like the romanticism of , the freedom, the adventures, the ever changing vistas!

You tend to hear less about the breakdowns, the cooooold evenings, collecting warning lights like they’re Pokemon & of course the j***y poo’s.

Although the later is new even to me, he says that, but this is maybe the 5th & yes for anyone that’s interested I have previously managed to forget there was one there & step in it, both feet as well hahah! 😂👎🖕

Lockdown has been pretty sh*te & November a bit of an odd month, but I’ve enjoyed slowly getting back to the world of social & connecting with mates globally, also enjoying looking back over memories thanks to FB &

Turns out November has often been a weird & wonderful one....

1. Me & the boys moved into our flat in Brissy on the 18th Nov 2011, just before we got could get thrown out of our hostel & just after most our mates had been haha.

2/3. I was fortunate enough (after the trip of a lifetime & an op to fix a wrist broken in 3 places) to land in the Galapagos mid November 2014. On arrival I had this little beaut of a sea-lion sleep on my foot for 20 minutes as I drunk whisky watching the sun set & another commandeer my towel when I went snorkelling - this is the place of (my) dreams & so high on my bucket list - phenomenal!

4/5. Mid November 2015 invited me to the Isle Of Skye to do a cheeky little video shoot, great trip, great team, great content & a chuffing cold Loche I had to jump in, queue obligatory (frozen) hair flick haha.

6/7/8. Then this time 2016 I had to have a triple hernia op after my spleen op & on the recommendation of specialists before embarking on the bike ride. “For the next month you need to be very inactive & bed bound for the most of it” OK doc!

Then just before my Dad had managed to arrive in London to collect me, I get a call from an agency asking me if I can work the next day?
“No, sorry! I’ve just undergone quite major surgery”
“Oh that’s a shame, Braun want to pay you £1000 to shave your beard off”
“I’ll see you at 9:00 am tomorrow!”
Haha fair to say Mum & Dad were far from impressed!

9/10. Shooting with & the talented who helped gradually tame my beard from terrorist, through to stylish, stubble & finally “Earth Worm Jim” & the last time I was clean shaven, with good reason! Haha.

Turns out I rather enjoy November, let’s see how the rest of this one shapes up, much love one & all! X

My bro () always says I’m basically homeless. I on the other hand like to think that I’m working my way up the property ladder. From two wheels & a tent, to four wheels & a bed three years later haha.

Same idiot, same optimistic outlook, different path, different views - exactly three years apart!

I feel incredibly blessed! I’ve had a truly charmed existence! Not without sadness & hardships, but, ALWAYS surrounded by incredible humans I’m proud to call friends, they’re more than that though, you’re all a little piece of me!

Thanks to each & every man in my existence, for you have not only shaped who I am, provided me with a lifetime of moments, memories & experiences, but also put me on my current path & I couldn’t be happier or more appreciative!

However, I am one of the lucky ones, I know a LOT of men who are struggling! Struggling hard! Struggling with finances, family, anxiety, jobs, stress, worthiness & every other facet of mental health. You are not alone & you are not weak for feeling like this, your feelings matter & you’re no less of a man for needing help, or for asking for help! Just please think to ask!!!

It takes a strong, brave & compassionate man to say he needs help, or he’s not OK & that’s OK!!!

Please, if you are struggling, let someone know! ANYONE! There is always someone willing to listen!!! I am more than happy to be that one, for any one!

Sadly one of the faces in my photos has already taken his life & already that’s one too many!!!!

I fu***ng love you all!!!! Sorry I couldn’t get all my mates into these snaps, but this is still aimed at you crazy cats equally!
