Making a mast is a very satisfying part of the job.

Another 'St ives' sailing dinghy in progress. You can see the thickness of the forward tank. This allows the boat to take the load of the unstayed mast.

For those of us with a love of old boats, this is my current project!
'Reservation' is an Elizabethan 23 yacht, once owned by artist and author Jom Mottram. He clocked up alot of sea miles in this old girl and wrote about his adventures in Yachting monthly amongst other magazines.
