A 10.25" gauge miniature railway, based at The Hayloft WA8 3XP, Cheshire / Merseyside

The usual steam for the railway is in the form of a vertical-boilered 0-4-0 steam tram, using a 1906 Locomobile steam car engine, with a boiler built by Coleby-Simkins in the 1973. A member of BGLR - Britain's Great Little Railways.

You've got to break a few eggs to make an omelette.

Our new build 2-4-2T steam tank loco has been taken to pieces. The steam pipes have been fitted, and the frames put on stands, so the valve gear / motion can be sorted and the chassis finished.

It's a Giles Favell designed loco, being built at Denver Light Railway Ltd.

🚂 The train's open daily until 1st November. 10am - 6pm until the 24th, then 10am - 4.30pm until the 1st.

🎃 The pumpkins are open daily for the rest of October. Twilight pumpkin picking until 7pm daily to Saturday 24th.

🎨 Face painting at weekends and half-term.

👻 Spooky maze is open daily.

☕ The Hayloft coffee shop is open daily. Weekdays 9.30am - 4.30pm and weekends 10am - 4.30pm. Pizza available after 4.30pm on Twilight pumpkins.
