From an engineering metal/steel based background, I joined Signode the world’s largest Strapping
Company and so began my career in the Strapping industry. I later joined Lawton’s of Liverpool as
the Steel Strapping Systems manager to launch their new Distributorship of Titan Strapping Systems
of Germany and in 1981 left to start Javah Ltd with my business partner Mike Frizzell. We quickly
grew our business establishing quality supply chain with international manufacturers and began
specialising in supplying Steel & Polypropylene strapping tools & machines to all sectors of industry
from Textiles, Construction, Steel, Metals, Glass, Chemicals, etc, etc. Over the years we have taken
on UK distributorships for major international manufacturers who have seen our company as one
that will do a professional job for them: Signode is a $2.8 billion dollar company- we are their largest
UK distributor, T-Gard (USA) is a multi-million dollar company- we are their UK distributor. We supply major international companies along with SME’s in a wide range of industries who are
ably supported by our Loyal and long serving staff who’s average length of service is 12 years. We provide our staff with excellent working conditions and regular staff training in order to keep
abreast of new technology and products.
