We are a small family run business based in Wells Somerset, Offering a Bespoke Collection & Delivery Service of old & Modern furniture and other items across Mainland UK, from Single to multiple items from a watch to Antique Furniture, bicycles going back to the 18th Century to Longcase Clocks plus other unusual items. We take pride in what we do, we have a well established Clients throughout the

UK though always happy to take on jobs at short notice if required or jobs at later date. Items are wrapped in heavy duty Transit Covers, Dinning Chair Covers or Mirror/Paint Bag to ensure your items arrive in the condition they are collected. Items can be collected from Private, Business Addresses aswell as Auction Houses throughout the UK.

Unbelievable catmanagment strikes just as I started to fill in some of our quotes sheets before I forget to do them!!

Minnie has since i got home earlier this afternoon to cause havoc but decided now is the time and by the looks of it has settled down for the evening.

Been an interesting week full of challenges if it wasnt the weather, traffic then it was issues with a few deliveries and this is one of them.

An interesting way of meeting your new neighbours!! went to deliver this Ercol Plank table to its new home in Cardiff on Tuesday evening for a regular client of ours and met with the usual issues of it too wide to go through the front door regardless of height or width and not practical to take the top off either, though the customer did measure where it was going to go just not how to get it in the property 🏠 so that was good then 🤣😆

As the customer had recently moved in didnt have access to the back gate nor access to the back alley way as it was locked, though by sheer luck the customers next door neighbour came home and had the key to the alley way, so took the table for a walk round the corner and carefully managed to get it over the customers wall and put in situ in the room it was meant to go in and all without any damage to the table of course, happy customer 😀 👍 for sure and a great way of the customer meeting her new neighbours 😀

Another week done and dusted with plenty going on at the moment which is good for business, a few rocking horses collected and delivered which is good, a collection from a auction house which didnt go to plan arrived to collect to be told its not here after having a look for it, appears it was given to another buyer who thankfully didnt live far away from the auction otherwise could of been a bit of an issue, so went to collect and will be delivered to our client who won it.

Another busy week ahead too and nice weather too it seems certainly for the areas we are going too.

Whilst awaiting for Auction house to open this morning after meeting this morning to collect some of our own silverware thought its time to look at our website as it needs updating, though being out and about means no catmanagment getting involved though catmanagment is away on her holiday this week. 😀

Sometimes when collecting Rocking Horses we dont always get to see whats underneath the wrapping as these are usually wrapped by the restorer in this case Beth Pritchard but we do get to see what they are like when they are unwrapped as we did with this one, thank you to the client in Devon who sent us a picture later in the day of which we really do appreciate it.

Whilst we take this opportunity to have a well relaxed weekend from coming back from our monthly around the UK 🇬🇧 run formally know as our Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 run, here is just a small selection of what we have collected and delivered over the last week fair to say there has been some heavy items this time round particularly the double sink and the cast iron fireplace.

The Rocking Horse which was delivered for full restoration which we will next see it in a few months once it is finished and delivered back to its family home in Cornwall.

At least the weather was good which was good for 2 days in Scotland 😀 so always an added bonus.

Last day out on the road this week, been a long week, a bit of mobile Office time catching up on paperwork for to sort out in the office down in Somerset, before first delivery in Twickenham this morning of Ercol table & chairs from the then onto to deliver their items collected around England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 & Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 this week.

Now if I had time I could easily go into the local pub for a drink and then take in this view, but I havent time to carry on with todays run.
