A look at the sunrise from our LPW Tankwash in Purfleet. 🌅🚛

After the bank holiday weekend, our team is back in and ready for another busy week. Based at Purfleet Industrial Park near the A13 and M25, the site is well placed for tanker operators travelling through Essex, Greater London and the South East.

Our team carries out specialist food-grade tank cleaning using high-pressure hot water and steam, followed by filtered drying and electronic wash certification.

The site is also EFTCO-approved and sits alongside our Purfleet Truckwash, so operators can arrange internal tank cleaning and an exterior vehicle wash at the same location.

Not a bad view to start the working week either! 👏🏼

Road grime builds up quickly on HGVs that spend their days out on the road. 💨

These photos show the before, during and after of this Steve Scarr Haulage DAF going through our Coneygarth Truckwash, and the difference a thorough clean can make.

Regular washing helps remove the dirt and traffic film that collect across the cab, wheels and lower areas of the vehicle. It also helps keep fleet branding clear and vehicles presentable.

At Coneygarth, our team works alongside the automated wash using professional pressure-washing equipment and hand finishing key areas including the cab, wheels and chassis. Most washes take around 10–15 minutes, so drivers can get the job done properly without losing too much time from the day.

The site is based at Exelby Services, directly off A1(M) Junction 51 in North Yorkshire, with no appointment needed. It also uses a closed-loop system that captures, treats and reuses up to 95% of the wash water.

Big news! We’re proud to be supporting The Racing Mos in the World's Toughest Row as part of the wider LPW Group sponsorship. 🌊🚣‍♂️

Later this year, The Racing Mos will set off from La Gomera to row more than 3,000 miles across the Atlantic to Antigua, taking on one of the world’s toughest endurance events. The journey is expected to take around 35 days, with nothing but a rowing boat, determination and teamwork to get them across the finish line.
