This tap needed switching to a more pragmatic model, also the wood beneath needed treating and rebuilding. This door had been broken open and I used the owners assorted spare handles to make anew. You can see that the tile grout was eroded behind the bath taps and the boxing behind it also needed reinforcing before the tiles could be reaffixed and grouted... I ❤️ fixing things!

Very happy to have refurbished a multi-fuel stove for a local client and to see the fire a-shining once more!
- ⁠Before skirting and tiling could begin, I worked with the client to design a colourful pattern of tiles from our shared collections and a small purchase from a favoured antique supplier.
- Air gap and fireboards added to the new layout.
- ⁠A new flu was sourced, cut to size and fitted into the completely refurbished and painted stove.
- ⁠The project needed care and attention, with lots of waiting time for curing, and so was carried out over several months in separate visits to suit the client’s schedule.
- ⁠A payment plan was arranged to ease the costs across the calendar.

Water pumps on boats should always be as close to your water tank as possible, it will stress the pump less and increase chances of consistant water pressure. Try to keep them no more thatn 1m away. This one I removed and plumbed in closer to the water tank in a more conveinent location.

Wishing everyone well. ‘Little example of some recent work I did on a beautiful widebeam in London. I took out and reworked some old bath room fixtures and replaced the sink with a new table and shelves built from scratch. Designed to accommodate the owners height and wish for more nooks for storage and best use of space, while also not getting in the way of the compost loo!

An old, very mushy Buffalo board, finally replaced with new! Cut on site for a snug fit and sealed with plenty of teak oil and varnish. Thanks for the work Sarah Day! and bearing with the delivery time!

Keeping it neat + tidy! I plumbed in this discreet sink in a new location, cutting through the boards the talented owner was prepping for redecoration. Making sure that the plumbing fixtures were still easily accesible for future checks and adjustments, while the sink was secure against the wall.

End of last year had a grand time hanging some rads on an Eberspächer heated system, found on the lovely narrow boat Argo. Thanks Emma and John for calling me in!
