Mark Bonnar (Guilt) and Ashley Jensen (Shetland, Agatha Raisin) are heading into the Scottish countryside for ‘Rambling’, a new one-off BBC sitcom about two walkers who aren’t necessarily the most obvious traveling companions.

Bonnar plays Gerry, a meticulous planner on a mission to fulfill a promise to his recently deceased brother. Jensen’s Cat has been thrown out of the walking group that was supposed to give her a fresh start and struggles to find her way even to the car park. The half-hour comedy follows them as their paths cross in some of the most incredibly scenic parts of rural Scotland.

Written by Iain Connell (Burnistoun) and Sharon Young (The Scotts), ‘Rambling’ is being made for BBC iPlayer, BBC Scotland, and BBC One. The announcement doesn’t include a premiere date or US viewing details, but we'll continue to keep an eye out for updates.
