One of these in the area a few days ago but not to be seen on yesterdays trip. Hopefully some of the wildlife that's been about the last few weeks will be about on our next trip.

Meet the crew!

Murdo, the skipper was born and brought up on the shores of Loch Roag in the village of Valtos. He has always been attracted to the sea ever since his childhood days.
In the early days of his career he was in the Merchant Navy as third mate sailing the seven seas.. he then decided to come home and persue a career in fishing around the western isles and st kilda. After many years of fishing he then decided a change of occupation was needed and then bought the MV Cuma over twenty years ago.

So there is needless to say that your skipper is highly experienced and has a wide range of knowledge of the islands on and off shore.

Hello everyone,

Welcome to Loch Roag Sea Tours.

Some of you might recognise the boat from island cruising. Island cruising is still operating out of Miavaig, Isle of Lewis but at a smaller scale.

We have decided to take a slightly different approach and will be offering 3 hour trips (twice a day) around the beautiful coastline of Loch Roag.

First trip at 10am to 1pm
Second trip 2pm to 5pm

Enjoy a cuppa in hand and a bite to eat and watch what wildlife that might stumble your way from either inside the comfort of the saloon or in the fresh sea air on deck.
