I’m delighted to introduce the latest addition to DLS Elite Travel – my brand-new 2026 Mercedes-Benz E-Class AMG Line (W214), the very latest generation of Mercedes’ executive saloon.

And it’s quite an upgrade!

As you can see from the trip computer, a recent journey to Heathrow Terminal 5 returned an astonishing 77.3 mpg!

With diesel prices at their current eye-watering levels, I might actually save a couple of pence per mile. I’ll try not to spend it all at once! 🤣

Just back from a wonderful 10 nights in Puglia Italy. Staying in Ostuni,Otranto & ending up in our own Trulli for a couple of nights. Fabulous weather a food.

A…Ask about Italian drivers🤯
B Ask who forgot to disconnect their dash-cam resulting in his car messaging him whilst he was sunning himself on a beach saying that it was low on battery.
Oh well back to M25 I go.

Enough about airports and executive travel — here are 10 things you probably didn’t need to know about me. 😂

1. Greggs or McDonald’s?
Neither. Hate them both. 😬

2. Red w**e, white w**e or b**r?
Red w**e 🍷 — but definitely not when I’m driving!

3. Food I could happily eat every week?
A really good roast dinner.

4. Music for a long drive?
Bruce Springsteen. The Boss. 🎸

5. Perfect holiday?
A mix of city and beach. I want both. 🏙️🏖️

6. Biggest pet hate on the road?
Middle-lane w***ers. Closely followed by people weaving in and out of traffic at ridiculous speeds. 🤦‍♂️

7. Perfect unexpected day off?
A good dog walk, a decent gym session, then a great meal and some w**e… with the wife, obviously. Nearly forgot that bit. 😂🍷

8. Favourite place I’ve visited?
Cavtat, Croatia 🇭🇷. Picture-perfect Mediterranean. Rome comes very close… Benidorm it is not. 😆

9. Early bird or night owl?
Depends what airport I’m going to! ✈️

10. Something customers might be surprised to learn about me?
I’m really, really grumpy. Apparently. 😒😂

Introducing our brand new Eco Transfer Service™ 🌱

From today, all journeys will be completed using our latest investment — a state-of-the-art, zero-emissions hand cart. Passengers will be carefully loaded (along with luggage, of course), and personally transported door-to-door by yours truly 💪

Not only is this environmentally friendly, but it also guarantees a truly unforgettable travel experience… especially on the uphill sections.

We appreciate your understanding during these challenging times and look forward to pulling… sorry, providing your next journey.
