Boat Hire and River Cruise Vacancies.
We are looking for part-time seasonal staff of all ages to join our team working at the Boathouse and onboard our fleet of passenger vessels on the river. You should have a positive attitude, enjoy working outside as part of a team and looking after people. Some boating experience would be useful, but if not you will receive training and support to enable you to be an effective part of Stratford’s oldest tourist attraction. We offer flexible weekly shifts and competitive pay.
We will be interviewing immediately from Mid-March.

After recent dredging, a new island has been made on the river, we have claimed it in the name of Avon Boating but we can't think of a name!

Send in your best (family friendly) names and the winner will be picked on 24th of April, with the prize being a free rowing boat for an hour on a day of your choice!

We cannot wait to launch our passenger boats, motor boats and rowing boats and get out on the river!

* Turns out there are two start dates for Spring, Astronomical and meteorological.

meteorological Spring begins on the March 1st, Astronomical Spring is based on Earth's position related to the sun and will start on March 20th.....definitely feels springy!

Absolute beaut of a sunset and a delightful crescent moon to end our first day back. The river is quiet but in the background we are sanding, priming, painting, varnishing, screwing, bolting, sawing, shaping and already excited about getting the boats back on the river in March. Roll on those summer days! 🎇

We are very proud to own one of the very few Venetian gondola's based in the U.K. this beautiful gondola is called 'The Dream' and once belonged to Stratford's very own Victorian megastar writer Marie Correlli. A celebration of her life and work is happening at the Town Hall today with 'The Dream' outside!
