🔧 Here’s what we got up to this afternoon! 🔧

We called out to a customer who was having problems with bad damp and condensation in their bathroom. We supplied and fitted a new extractor fan to help remove the moisture and improve the ventilation. 💨🏠

So, we called out to a customer’s house to give the gutters a full clean — inside and out — as well as soft washing the fascias and soffits. They hadn’t been done in quite some time, and the difference it has made to the look of the house is brilliant! 🏡

This Week at Handyman With a Van 🔨🚐

This week we’ve managed to get around all our local gardening runs and get them all done and dusted for another couple of weeks! 🌿

We’ve also squeezed in a few dump runs, some flat-pack building and a few other odd jobs along the way💪.

After a few weeks off, we’re finally back at it again! 💪🔨

Today we were out power washing the outside of this restaurant, and as you can see from the pictures, it came up absolutely brilliant! ✨ All nice and clean, fresh and ready for the customers!

Once that was finished, we headed inside and replaced four taps 🚰🔧 — so that’s no more drips, no more leaks and no more tap-dancing in the sinks! 😂

Here's another job we got done during the week! 👏

We called out to a lovely lady's house who had a list of jobs needing sorted. We started off by taking down an old fence and trellis in the back garden before loading it all up and taking it away to the dump for her.

There were also more bits and pieces of old materials lying around the property, so we ended up doing a second dump run to get everything cleared away and leave the place nice and tidy.

Next, we found a section of fencing that was completely rotten, so we removed it, fitted two new fence posts, replaced all four rotten fence rails with new treated ones, then reattached the fence section and replaced a few damaged fence boards to get everything strong and secure again.
We then gave her pergola's Perspex roof a full soft wash, and as you can see from the photos, what a difference it made! We also replaced a cracked Perspex sheet and patched up another damaged area to stop the leaks.

To finish the job off, we grouted a few cracks in the concrete and repaired a damaged windowsill, leaving everything neat and tidy.

Another wee job completed this week for one of our loyal customers! 👏

We were out scraping the moss off the roof, and as you can see from the before and after photos, what a difference it made. We got all the moss cleared away, leaving the roof looking clean and tidy again.

After scraping the roof, we cleaned out all the gutters, as they had filled up with moss during the job, making sure everything was left clean and flowing properly. While we were at it, we also gave the chimney a good wire brushing to get it looking much tidier.

We then applied a professional roof treatment to kill off any remaining moss, algae and lichen, helping to keep the roof cleaner for longer.
We also replaced two ridge caps that had come loose, safely bedding them back into place with fresh mortar to make sure everything was secure.

Another happy customer, and we really appreciate all the repeat work. Thanks again for putting your trust in us – it's always a pleasure! If your roof could do with a clean or any repairs, just give us a shout. 👍

🔨 Another job complete! 🔨

Today we got called out to a lady's house to build two egg garden chairs. As you can see from the pictures, they turned out brilliant! I even had to give one a wee test sit myself... and I have to say, they're actually really comfortable! 😂

While we were there, we also helped her out with a dump run, so that's another happy customer and another job completed.
