Good news 🔊 Mistys Motorcycle Plates is back online after a short period of downtime due to technical issues with the printer.

Safe to say our equipment supplier didn't even understand what the problem was but it's been rectified and we're pumping out the plates 💪

No pictures today! We did however recover a broken down bike from Peterborough with no clutch and it's now sat in the workshop waiting parts 👌🏼

We didn't want people to follow one page expecting to see bike updates but kept seeing number plates so we are keeping them separate, to make it easier for us and our followers we are using the same profile and header picture as they are bespoke to us and our brand. We will give it a chance but if doesn't work out we will delete the plate page.

Mistys motorcycles might be the name, but we had this Honda Goldwing GL1500 trike in for some exhaust modification. The original downturns were pretty much straight through, so fairly loud and you couldn't hear the engine or radio over the droning noise. We cut these off and done some fabrication work to fit 2 straight cans in place that had appropriate baffles and wadding. It lowered the noise level considerably and in my opinion, looks a lot cleaner than the downturns.

We also make show plates 7x5 with your choice of wording / font.

(We also do standard oblong car plates but we won't advertise that to much)

We have a nice little workshop in South Lincolnshire offering:

Project bikes, we will work on them and also buy them.

We can collect and deliver your bikes.

We don't mass book in bikes and we only have 1/2 bikes in at a time. 1 bench is for the long term overhaul / project bikes and 1 bench for daily turnaround. We run the business from our home address so bookings are by appointment only.

This is how the 2000 Honda Goldwing GL1500 sits at the moment. We're just waiting a few more parts and hoping 🤞 by the weekend the Goldwing will be sat on its new Bridgestone tyres fully back together ready for its first test ride 😎

Another one on the bench! This one's taking a little longer as it's having a full overhaul / recommissioning after being off the road 8 years but luckily it was garaged!

Our van lately is just an ornament 😂
