A small update to our prices — and an apology to our customers

We’ve recently received a couple of messages from customers regarding the small increase in our airport transfer prices this year, so we wanted to explain the reasons behind it openly and honestly.

Firstly, we are genuinely sorry that we have had to increase our prices. This is not something we have taken lightly, and we deliberately held our prices for as long as we possibly could.

For the majority of our local airport journeys, the increase is around £5 per journey compared with last year.

Unfortunately, over the past year we have seen significant increases in the costs of running our vehicles and our business. Fuel prices have risen considerably, replacement vehicles — particularly the minibuses we operate — have become substantially more expensive, and our business insurance is now around £2,000 per vehicle.

Rather than simply increasing our prices by a percentage, we have carefully worked out the additional annual cost of running our vehicles and operating our business, and divided that cost fairly across the journeys we undertake.

We have tried very hard to keep the increase to the absolute minimum possible.

Our customers are incredibly important to us, and we know that many of you have been using us for years. We never want anyone to feel that we are taking their loyalty for granted.

We remain committed to providing the same reliable, professional and personal service that you have come to expect from us — with local drivers, comfortable vehicles and, most importantly, getting you to the airport on time.
