Shoreham Airport The Main Terminal building was opened on 13th June 1936 under the name ‘Brighton Hove and Worthing Joint Municipal Airport’ and still stands proud, today.

I learned to fly at Shoreham airport in 1996. With a company called Southern Air. I went on to form the Baron flying Group later to become the Baron Flying Club.

Learning to fly has always been really expensive and riddled with rules and regulations.

Today we can learn just as much for free in the comfort of our own home with a Gaming PC, a joystick and a VR headset.
