📸 PHOTO COMPETITION TIME! ✈️

At Shoreham, we’re lucky to have a fantastic community of visitors and aviation enthusiasts who love the thrill of capturing the perfect aircraft shot. Now it’s your turn to show off your photography skills!

We’re inviting you to submit your best aircraft photographs for our Multi-Engine Photo Competition. 🛩️ (max. two per-entry)

🏆 The prize? The winning photograph will be proudly displayed on the Main Terminal Information TV for one month, starting 1 November!

How to enter:
📩 Email your entry to [email protected], following the submission criteria provided.

📷 Please ensure your photographs meet the stated criteria and are submitted in the highest available quality. Don’t forget to include the name you’d like displayed alongside your photograph if you win!

From everyone in the team here at Shoreham, we wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who participated in our vintage fly-in this past Sunday!

Although a frustrating day with the weather, we were pleased to welcome 9 visitors to the apron and give the public a great up-close view of these historic machines.

We are looking forward to next summer and hopefully more fantastic days like these!

FULL-TIME ATC, 7 DAYS A WEEK!

Over the past few years, we have been working hard to restore a full-time Air Traffic Control service at Brighton City Airport.

Following a long period of operating with mixed services, we are delighted to announce that full ATC is now available 7 days a week!

Instrument approach availability can be viewed online at flybrighton.com → Pilot Info → Air Traffic Control.

Great news!

On 27 September, we’re proud to welcome a fantastic collection of vintage aircraft to Shoreham, marking the return of fly-ins to Brighton City Airport! ✈️

Our friends at Shipping and Airlines Co. will be joining us as special guests, with several aircraft from their fleet set to grace the apron in front of the Terminal Building — transporting us back to the golden age of aviation and the 1930s for the day.

Have an aircraft built before 1960 and want to join us?

Pilot POV part 2! - starting the T67M Firefly, built by Slingsby in Yorkshire. A former RAF basic trainer, now used across the U.K. in UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training). The fully aerobatic airframe is perfect for UPRT, aerobatic ratings and with the addition of the ‘wobbly prop’ is great for additional power management training.
