Burcombe were delighted to help out on BBC One's DIY SOS programme, which aired last night.

The build in Devon was to help keep Georgie and her young family together following the sudden passing of husband and father Chris. A talented carpenter, Chris had been in the middle of renovating the only house the family could afford in the hope they could turn the fixer-upper into a warm and safe home for their three young children.

Now, Georgie is single handedly raising the children, all while living in a half-renovated house, grieving the loss of her partner, and helping care for her mum who has early onset dementia. She is doing the best for her children, who are navigating their own grief - she needed the care and support of her community.
And the local trades, volunteers and suppliers came out in force to help!

Burcombe Haulage sweeper drivers Mark and Martin kept the roads clean during the build and made sure the area was swept for the big reveal day for the family. You can you rewatch the episode at anytime on BBC iPlayer.
