Final tweaks being completed on the latest member of our fleet, out on its first run tomorrow!

This Volvo FL280 16t rigid supplied by Justin Fisher of Stuarts Truck & Bus Exeter features full air suspension, a curtain side body by TWR body builders in Cullompton and a Dhollandia 1500kg cantilever tail lift.

It also has the new UPN livery celebrating their 25th anniversary.

We paid a visit to St Dominic School last week and took along one of our lorries for the children to explore as part of their learning.

Along with pupils from St Mellion, Will explained to them all the different vehicles that Burcombe has and what they carry – plenty said that they had seen our red lorries around!
After some excellent questions they all went out to have a look at the curtain side lorry, a sit in the drivers seat and soon discovered an empty trailer makes a brilliant echo!

Thank you to the teachers and pupils at both schools, we hope you enjoyed the experience and make sure you give our red lorries a wave when you see us! 👋🚛
