UPDATE!

Unfortunately due to me having undergone a left leg arthroscopic ACL reconstruction just over a week ago, the ferry will unfortunately not be up and running in 2025. I am working very hard with physio and exercises to get back to full fitness.

We are very sad we can't get the ferry running this year.
We are very sorry to all are supporters, followers and all potential passengers.

But please keep a look out for updates, we will keep you posted.

An update for the 2024 season.
Sadly after a pre-season test run the steering was not functioning properly on the boat. We will need to get this looked at before we can start running the ferry.
It has taken longer than expected to get the boat up to spec to carry passengers and at a huge expense. This is all being done along side working full time, renovating a house and starting a family.
We are still determined to get a ferry service up and running as soon as we possibly can.

Due to 2022 being a very busy year; getting married, selection for the Commonwealth games and going self employed as tree surgeon/landscape gardener to allow me to run the ferry...!!! We won't be able to have a full service this year. Fingers crossed we will be offering trips of some sort in-between everything else so keep on eye on this page.

UPDATE! We are very sorry but we won't be launching the new ferry service this summer 😢.
Due to work taking longer than expected we do not want to rush and not finish the boat to a high standard. We hope to be trialing the service in the autumn so keep an eye out for trips here. Thank you for your patience 🛥️❤️🛥️

Another update. Went to put the last of the foam in the boat yesterday and also have a look at how the boat is coming along. It is starting to look like a ferry now. Coming along very nicely. But still lots to do. Thank you to all our supporters for donating. Looking forward to welcoming you on board Gorran Girl. 🛥🌞🌊

After a generous extension of 3 weeks from Crowdfunder we are 5 days from the end! Thank you so much for all your support and incredible generosity. Another update. Mark went to deliver the fuel tank so a cupboard can be made for that and the new floor is in. Looking great! Thank you for all your support 🛥️

We went to see how work on the boat is going last night, sand blasted and cabin halved! Looking great.
Also had to add the required buoyancy before the floor goes down.
