โ๏ธโค๏ธ Thereโs been so much talk about AI replacing travel agents recently and this how I see it:
AI can find flights, compare hotels and put together a pretty impressive itinerary in seconds. But travel isnโt just about information โ itโs about judgement, experience and people.
It doesnโt know that a nervous flyer might need a particular airline, that someone is celebrating a special anniversary, or that a family holiday needs to work for that particular family.
And when something goes wrong? Thatโs when you really see the value of a good travel agent. AI can suggest a solution, but a human being who knows you, cares about your trip and will fight your corner is a very different thing.
I donโt think AI is the enemy of travel agents. Used properly, it can actually make us better โ taking away some of the time-consuming work so we have more time to do what weโre really here for: looking after our customers.
Because at The Travel Princess ๐, I donโt just want to book you a holiday. I want to know why youโre going, what matters to you, and make sure you have the right trip for you.
The biggest threat isnโt AI.
Itโs letting customers believe AI is enough. โค๏ธโ๏ธ
