We’re excited to welcome RiverRunner V back to the fleet—a vessel we originally built 7 years ago and recently had the opportunity to buy back.

This versatile 7m x 2.55m trailerable Cougar Cat is rigged primarily for survey operations and comes equipped with:

We’re please to announce we are taking Buccanneer 21 to the Skipper Expo in Aberdeen, we now have the rights to advertise, mould and build the range from 16ft - 46ft.

We offer a wide range of commercial catamarans, ranging from 6m to 14m, available with both inboard and outboard options. Our boats are suitable for various purposes, including commercial fishing, surveys, wildlife tours, workboat applications, passenger transport, and private use for rod and line fishing.

All of our boats are built to high standards, complying with MCA regulations and guided by SCMS.

Exciting opportunity has arisen at Audacious Marine where we are looking to recruit an experienced marine wet hand lay-up laminator / boatbuilder to join our team in Ramsgate Kent.
We are a well established boatbuilding firm building commercial catamarans from 6m to 14m.
The position offered is permanent with a competitive hourly rate for the ideal candidate. We would like a candidate that is a hard working team player who is well organised and able to problem solve with a positive work attitude.
Hours are a minimum 40hour week, with opportunities for overtime working.
The successful candidate will be primarily working on the production of hull & decks
You are required to have extensive previous experience as a marine wet lay-up laminator on boats.
Duties and responsibilities :
- Mould preparation
- The production of hulls, and fitting out of vessels.
- The production of components as a secondary role as required
Minimum requirements:
- Experience and knowledge in the use of Polyester, Isophthalic and Vinylester resins, Gel coats, Bonding pastes, Flow coats CSM & Combination mat
- Experience in all aspects of Hand Wet Lay Up essential
- Use of core materials ( Nida plastic, foam core ) and bonding pastes
- Use and understanding of drawings, jigs and patterns.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a small team or as an sole individual
- Maturity and ability to work quickly and to a high standard, often unsupervised
- Min 1 years experience using hand lay-up techniques in the marine industry
