Award winning Music for Little People classes lay the foundations for future learning with fun classes that contribute to the UK Government Early Years Foundation Stages of the National Curriculum. They were developed by Karen Dickinson, an early years specialist with a Masters in Music Education from the Institute of Education and a LTCL (Music Education) from Trinity College. The structured curr

iculum is divided into 3 separate age groups: 0-2, 2-3 & 3-5 years and provides different topics each term –For example mini-beasts, colours, shapes, transport, and jungle animals. The classes use a wide range of exciting percussion instruments, puppets and colourful teaching aids and introduce musical concepts such as pitch, rhythm, tempo, timbre, beat, and notation. Music for Little People classes are also are an excellent foundation for future instrumental learning, for developing creativity and listening skills and for encouraging happy curious children.
