Following our incredible success at the Community Transport 2026 Awards, we wanted to bring the trophy home to where it truly belongs. ๐Ÿฅฐ

This afternoon, many of our team gathered at the yard alongside our buses, with Drew Smart and Douglas Fraser proudly holding the award that recognises Glenfarg Community Transport as Community Transport Organisation of the Year (6+ vehicles) for the WHOLE OF THE UK! ๐Ÿคฉ

While itโ€™s Drew and Douglas holding the trophy in this photograph, this award represents every single member of the Glenfarg Community Transport family. ๐Ÿค

From our drivers who are out on the road every day, to our staff who keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes - this achievement belongs to all of them. ๐Ÿ†

We may be the ones receiving the award, but it has only been possible because of the dedication, hard work and commitment shown by our entire team day in and day out. ๐Ÿ’š

Looking at this photo makes us incredibly proud of what weโ€™ve achieved together, but even more excited about what comes next. ๐Ÿ‘€

A couple of days on from the Community Transport 2026 Awards in Manchester and weโ€™re still struggling to find the words. ๐Ÿคฏ

To be named Community Transport Organisation of the Year (6+ vehicles) for THE WHOLE OF THE UK is an achievement that still feels surreal. Every time we look at the trophy, it reminds us just how special Thursday was. ๐Ÿ’š

This photograph captures a proud moment from the day, with our very own Geoff Christie and Sheila Christie alongside members of the fantastic EVM team, who have supported us throughout our journey. ๐ŸšŒ

Standing there with the award is a moment we are sure Geoff and Sheila will ever forget. Not because of the trophy itself, but because of what it represents - years of hard work, dedication and commitment from an incredible team of staff, volunteers and supporters who work tirelessly to keep our communities connected. ๐Ÿซก

Since sharing the news, we have been overwhelmed by the number of kind comments, messages and congratulations we have received. The support shown by our passengers, local communities, partner organisations, friends and supporters has been truly heartwarming and we would like to thank every single person who has taken the time to get in touch (weโ€™ve tried to reply to every comment on our original post!) Reading your messages has made this achievement feel even more special. ๐Ÿ’š

We are immensely grateful to everyone who has supported Glenfarg Community Transport over the years. From our passengers who place their trust in us every day, to our drivers, volunteers, behind the scenes team, partners and supporters, this award belongs to all of you. ๐Ÿค

We are absolutely amazed, honoured and incredibly proud to share that Glenfarg Community Transport has been named Community Transport Organisation of the Year (6+ vehicles) for the whole of the UK at this afternoons Community Transport 2026 Awards day.

To receive this recognition on a national stage is something we could only have dreamed of. Even being shortlisted amongst some of the UKโ€™s finest transport operators felt like a huge achievement in itself, so to come away as winners is simply incredible.

This award belongs to every single member of our team. From our drivers and office staff to our volunteers and supporters, it is recognition of the hard work, dedication and passion that goes into serving our communities week in and week out.

Most importantly, thank you to our passengers and the communities we serve. Your support means everything to us and is the reason we do what we do every day.

Today weโ€™re taking a moment to celebrate, but tomorrow weโ€™ll be back doing what we do best - keeping our communities connected.
