Customer notice : partial closure 12th-19th April.

With the Easter half term coming up, and Mrs Neales Wheels 40th (shh 🤫) birthday, we will be having a partial closure from 12th - 19th April inclusive for a much needed, well earned, and long overdue break with the family.

During this time we will still be available via email - [email protected], you can message the page, or if you did want to speak to someone then please do reach out to us on whatsapp : +447715348078, and we will be checking and responding to people when we’re able to through the day - internet signal permitting. But the landline and mobiles for calls will not be available, the only number that will be available to call will be via whatsapp (internet call) as above.

The remainder of the team will still be here busy working, and if needed then of course the team will happily to assist with your removal needs where availability allows, it’s just being able to reach myself or Sarah during this week will be a little more difficult, but as always we’ll do our best… we’ll just be doing it a little more remote than usual!

So if you’re reading this and do plan to reach us, or are trying to reach us, during this time, please just be a little patient, we will come back to you as soon as we’re able. ☺️

Hello everyone, we hope you’re all keeping well and have been enjoying the nicer, albeit chilly, weather we’ve been having here in beautiful Devon.

Well it’s been a busy, busy week this week! With moves in Paignton, Ashburton, Dartmouth, Exeter, a long distance up to Long Eaton, and a leg day for the team today in beautiful Kingswear. A little move to finish off in Paignton tomorrow, before it all starts again on Monday!

So a bit of a different post, but we think it’s amazing and deserves big recognition! We are super proud of the littlest member of the Neales Wheels clan, 10 year old Darcy.

3 years ago our beautiful son Darcy saw an advert for the The Little Princess Trust and decided he wanted to do an a truly amazing thing and grow his hair so that he can donate it to the Little Princess Trust who provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions such as Alopecia.

3 years later he has a staggering 21” to be cut and donated to this amazing cause! 😍

This charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK. The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.

We have organised a fundraiser alongside this effort, aiming to raise the money needed to support the Little Princess Trust and fund the cost of making a wig.

We are setting a target of £550 to help make a difference in the lives of these brave children. We invite you to join us in this journey by supporting our cause. Your contribution, however much, will not only help provide wigs but also support vital research into childhood cancer. Together, we can bring hope and smiles to those who need it most.

A busy, busy start to 2026 - how is it nearly March already?! We hope you’re all keeping well, and have enjoyed those glimpses of that lovely yellow glow (what’s it called again, oh yes sun!) that is starting to appear from the sky as the weather warms.
We’ve had a long one this week, with a pack and move for a lovely customer in Dartmouth who was relocating to the North. Three days of packing, a load up, long drive, and stop over near Choppington, and the drive back yesterday into the bay! We were fortunate with the weather on the journey, and had a lovely meal in the hotel to finish off a great move. Huge shout out to Tomo and Ben for their incredible graft as always. Hope you’ve both had a restful day today. ☺️

A big shout out and congratulations from the team goes out to our amazing team leader Neale Gater for passing his HGV C+E driving test! Of course we don’t plan to carry out house moves in Artics anytime soon… or likely ever, however in gaining his HGV licence it does mean that we now have an additional team member who’s taken their skill set to the next level, enabling him to drive removal trucks over 3.5T. Well done Neale, huge congratulations to you! ☺️

Well with a bustling start to the New Year, all systems are go!!… except our email server which has been down since the early hours. 😞 We’ve been assured that it is being looked into and is a wide spread case, not just an isolated event, and ‘should’ be back up and running very soon. Well that’s us all but wrapped up for the year and what a years it’s been! 🏡🍾 We would like to wish all of our supporters, customers new and old, colleagues, family and friends a wonderful Christmas, and a very happy and healthy 2026!

As always, should you need to speak with us for a move you have coming up between Christmas and new year, or early into the new year, we will be available over the Christmas period, and will get back to you as soon as possible. But for now that’s the muscles and legs having a well earned rest for a week. 😆

⭐️ JOB OPPORTUNITY ⭐️

We have a job opportunity for a driver and/or porter to join our small family run, friendly removals team based in Paignton, Devon.

Permanent, temporary and casual work available.

Candidates are welcome to join on a self employed basis, to be offered casual work shifts which they are able to pick and choose the extra work to suit other work commitments, or on a PAYE paid weekly/monthly.

An element of flexibility will be required as this is not a typical 9-5 Monday to Friday role, and work can come up at short notice. We do also work weekends (not every weekend), and the days can occasionally be longer with long distance moves and the a key wait etc.

It is a physically demanding role, as no two jobs are the same with property access, so a good level of stamina and fitness is required.

The job will involve suitably wrapping and safe lifting of household furniture, including boxes and smaller miscellaneous items, safely onto the trucks, and driving (if you’re a driver) to the new property to then unload into the customers desired destination. We cover the whole of the U.K., and also undertake furniture dismantling and assembly, pack and moves, single item moves, office moves, household clearances and other contracted delivery work.

The ability to communicate with the team member you’re carrying with is a must. All training will be given, suitable equipment to safely carry out the job and uniform provided.

We work with a range of different clients, including vulnerable adults and various professional organisations, so a DBS is required, but we will apply for this if you don’t already have one.

We pride ourselves on our high standards and providing the best service possible. Our job is centred around meeting our customers very needs. So a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills and manners is a must.

We are a really relaxed team, and pull together like a well oiled machine to get the job done.

Rate of pay to be discussed - depending on experience and provision of a clean driving license.

Hello everyone! Apologies for the silence! What a summer it’s been, and despite the seasons beginning to change 🍁🍂 the busy period doesnt seem to be slowing down anytime soon which is a fantastic reflection of all of your wonderful recommendations and the service we strive to provide on every job we do. We’re looking at mid/end of October for a wider selection of available dates, but of course have the odd days available ahead of then for any last minute moves.

Frustratingly our email server continues to provide intermittent connection, and I know some of you are receiving emails following a period of delay from when they’re being sent, so we do apologise for the inconvenience this is causing, and assure you we are on it, and are actively checking and replying as soon as the window, where it is actually working like it’s supposed to, opens.
