Sometimes things go wrong, but QCT are always on hand to support!

On Wednesday lunchtime, one of our regular customers called us with a last minute request for a coach needed the very next day. Not ideal… but within 2 hours we had it fully sorted and back on track.

This one did come with a small catch though. We had to call in the big guns and get the owner of Cawthorne's Travel out on tour… meaning he had to miss his wife’s birthday. We are not sure we will ever live that one down, but needs must when it comes to keeping our customers moving.

To make matters even more interesting, he had to jump straight in the car, head down to London, grab a hotel for the night and be ready for a 03:45 departure. No easing into this one!

On the plus side, working with Cawthornes means plenty of great photos as always and in a funny twist of fate, we even got a bonus moment when he bumped into another one of our tours at the Arc de Triomphe. Two of our groups crossing paths in Paris was not planned, but sums up just how busy things are getting.

A massive thank you to Cawthornes and especially James (and his wife) for stepping up at such short notice. This is exactly what partnership is all about.

And it does not stop there…
We are heading into a huge weekend, one of our busiest ever! This includes our first major Scout event at the Space Centre in Leicester, alongside a number of Easter tours heading across Europe, with the majority off on their skiing adventures.

It’s all go at the moment and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

We’ve currently got a lot of coaches out in Europe delivering school tours, with more heading out tomorrow as the season really starts to ramp up.

One school group from Ilford has been enjoying their time in Lille, and they’re heading back home tonight after a great trip!

Whatever the weather throws at us, the coaches are still the brightest thing on the road, especially when we use Sanders Coaches! Thank you for the photo Warren!

Big day on the road yesterday for the QCT network with plenty of miles being covered across Europe.

First up, the legendary Cawthorne's Travel were out in force with three coaches on tour. If you’ve booked through QCT and are informed your job is allocated to Cawthornes, you can almost guarantee there will be plenty of photos involved.
One coach was parked up in Paris giving passengers that classic Eiffel Tower backdrop, while two more coaches were heading to Ypres on a separate tour exploring the history of the area.

Meanwhile back in the UK we had BM Coaches London - Coach Hire Company in London UK and Linburg Bus & Coach handling a large airport collection at Heathrow. They collected a group of 96 students from Colombia visiting the UK for the first time, who have just begun an incredible 16 day tour across England, Scotland and Wales!

From Paris landmarks and Belgian history to a full UK adventure starting at Heathrow, it’s another great example of the network working together to keep groups moving.

Safe travels to all the drivers and groups currently out on the road. We’re looking forward to seeing plenty more photos from our coaches out and about today.

A fantastic set of photos sent over from Ronnie at Hanson Coaches following a brilliant residential run from Brighton up to JCA Condover Hall this weekend.

Ronnie loaded up on the south coast, in Brighton before setting off on the 225 mile journey up to Shropshire and was back on duty Sunday for the return leg, bringing everyone home tired but full of stories.

These residentials are what coach travel is all about. Long distance work, two full travel days, careful planning around timings and rest, and a professional driver making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

Massive thanks to Ronnie and the Hansons team for another job done properly. 900 mile round trip, a full weekend commitment and a coach that looked spot on as always.

This is exactly why we value the operators we work with. Reliable, professional and proud of what they do.

This week we’ve got Hanson Coaches out in the Italian Alps with a stunning 61 seater Mercedes Tourismo, based in the ski region of Prato Nevoso. Not a bad office for the week!

Back home, a massive thank you to South East Coaches Ltd who stepped in at very short notice yesterday following a last minute flight cancellation at Manchester, with passengers rerouted into Stansted.

Quick turnaround, no fuss, no delay and customer looked after.

This is exactly why South East are one of our core operators.
And for the first time ever… a photo from South East with no window sticker which has kept the office very entertained 😅

If you know the QCT & South East relationship, you’ll know how consistent they are with sending brilliant photos proudly showing the QCT board in the windscreen. This was very much a “just get it done and get them moved” situation, so we didn’t waste time with the sticker… although it has definitely damaged their 100% window sticker success rate. We might let them off. This time

Huge appreciation to operators who simply make things happen when it matters most. That’s what this industry and being a trusted subcontractor is all about.

The photos keep coming in and we love it!

Orbit Coaches Limited have been travelling around Ypres this weekend, sharing some powerful images from around the town and surrounding memorial sites. School tours like these are always a reminder that these trips are about far more than just the journey. They are about learning, perspective and experiences that stay with students for life.

Meanwhile Cawthorne's Travel have been keeping us well updated from in and around Paris. True to form, plenty of brilliant shots coming through from the French capital, coaches looking spot on against some incredible backdrops.

Seeing our operators out there representing Quality Coach Travel across Europe never gets old.

February half term is always the first big coach weekend of the season and this one absolutely delivered.

We had 38 coaches on the move across the weekend, heading to UK and European destinations and for once, the ports and the roads behaved themselves!

It is always a proud moment seeing the operation step up to this level so early in the year. Months of planning, route checks, ferry bookings, driver coordination and customer liaison all come together in one huge weekend.

We have already started receiving some brilliant photos back from our operators:

Taw and Torridge Coaches have sent through a fantastic shot of their Van Hool Astromega parked up at Disneyland Paris.
Cawthorne's Travel and their two immaculate Neoplans are currently in Paris. Knowing how much they enjoy keeping us updated, we have no doubt plenty more images will be landing in our inbox over the week!

With coaches currently touring in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Germany, we are hoping the photo gallery grows nicely over the next few days. If you are out there with one of our trips this week, keep the pictures coming. We love seeing them and so do the customers.

Of course South East Coaches Ltd treated us to their brand new 57-seater Temsa and being South East, there simply had to be a photo!

We’re genuinely grateful they allocated their latest addition for an airport transfer out of Southend this morning. Not only are these passengers heading off on a school trip to Copenhagen, they also got the added bonus of being some of the very first people to step on board this coach.... New coach smell included.

Big thanks again to our friends at South East Coaches, always a pleasure to work together and a brilliant way to kick off our relationship for 2026.
