RHA has welcomed a major change to the government's controversial Clandestine Entrant Civil Penalty Scheme (CECPS) which sees fines imposed on drivers found to be carrying illegal immigrants in their trucks cut from £10,000 for every stowaway to zero.

We are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a professional driver looking for stable work, competitive pay, and a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

-Carrying out multi-drop or trunking deliveries safely and efficiently
-Completing vehicle checks and reporting defects
-Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in line with company procedures
-Maintaining accurate paperwork and PODs
-Providing a professional and courteous service to customers

Requirements

-Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
-Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
-Good knowledge of road transport legislation
-Strong time management and communication skills
