We've been here 2 days and have already done so much! We've swung on a tire swing attached to a palm tree, swum by a waterfall, saw monkeys swinging in the trees above us and have eaten delicious local food!

We're at the airport now all ready to set off to Sri Lanka!!

17 days to go!!!

After 5 vaccinations each in the past 2 months, we are fully safe to go to Sri Lanka in under 3 weeks!!

We are £200 off our full £4,500 which we need to go so any final donations to our GoFundMe (pinned on our page and also at the bottom of this post) will be very much appreciated!

We are so grateful for everybody who has supported us in the past year and a half, we would have never been able to have this opportinity without the donations and just general support from everyone who has followed our journey!

Unfortunately, we have a busy few weeks ahead so we don't have any availability to go busking so our GoFundMe is our primary source for reaching our target! The link is below.

We did a great busk in sidmouth today! We've finally defrosted after a few hours of being back in the warmth, being out in the 7°C weather from 9:30am-2pm is really difficult but it's worth it knowing it's getting us to 35°C weather in Sri Lanka in just 6 months! Thank you to everyone in sidmouth who donated or said nice things it pushes us to carry on so thank you. ❤

Hi guys,

We thought we'd have a chat on camera about our journey so far raising money to do a travel and volunteer experience in Sri Lanka in August, give some funding updates and give a little debrief of what the trip is going to look like for us! I also have a link to a video from the Mighty Roar website of the Sri Lanka trip if anyone wants to actually see visually what we're going to be doing!
