Another brilliant networking day in Cardiff today 🙌

I’ve been at the Zokit Business Networking Mixer Lunch at the iconic Principality Stadium. It was a fantastic chance to connect with local business owners, share ideas, build new relationships and chat all things travel over a really enjoyable lunch.

70 Plus Soccer World Cup 2026 is officially underway at Redlands United FC in Australia, and Wales are off to a flying start! 🎉💪

They will be taking on teams from Germany, Australia, the USA and Japan: a fantastic example that passion for sport and adventure has no age limit.

One year ago today I took the leap and launched my business as a Travel Counsellor… and what a year it’s been!

What a great morning!

Braving the darkness and rain was absolutely worth it for the Dragons Big Breakfast.

With over 100 local businesses in the room, the atmosphere was fantastic and I genuinely think it might have been the best one yet. 🤩 As a Travel Counsellor, it is brilliant to be part of such a vibrant local business community.

Everyone I spoke to said how much they enjoyed the morning. The networking was top notch, I met some brilliant and really interesting people from a wide variety of industries, and I have come away with plenty of new connections to follow up with.

Huge thank you to So. Social Media for sponsoring the event, and to Josh Walsh for a fantastic and thought‑provoking talk on how to use AI effectively in business and just how powerful it can be when used well.

Just back from a week on Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas and my first experience of an older, smaller ship.

We had a fantastic time: a really friendly, relaxed atmosphere, easy to find our way around and never too far from the sea views.

It also really highlighted the differences compared with today’s larger, newer ships: more intimate and low-key on board, but without some of the big-ship bells and whistles my clients often enjoy.
