A fantastic photo taken by our driver Darren while stopped at the Eiffel Tower during his week in Paris with the Medina Community Choir.

The choir are currently enjoying a busy concert tour of the French capital, performing at some truly spectacular venues including Saint-Sulpice, Saint-Philippe-du-Roule and Saint-Séverin Church. 🎶

We’re delighted to be providing their transport throughout the tour and, as always, it’s a pleasure to have the group on board with Wight Coaches.

We hope everyone has a brilliant rest of the trip!

Following on from our previous post, we can confirm that Bernie has not been putting enough effort into his cleaning duties… so we’re looking for someone a little more reliable to join the team! 🐾

We are looking for a part-time cleaner to help keep our coaches and minibuses clean and ready for their next journey.

The role will include:

• Cleaning the inside of vehicles, including sweeping, hoovering, windows and general tidying
• Washing the outside of coaches and minibuses where required
• Making sure vehicles are ready for their next trip

The hours will be varied and will not follow a standard 9–5 pattern. Evening work will be required, particularly when vehicles return from day trips/tours and need to be cleaned ready for the following morning.

All cleaning equipment and products will be provided. The role is based at our secure compound just north of Newport.

We’re ideally looking for someone who:

✅ Is happy working independently
✅ Uses their own initiative
✅ Takes pride in doing a thorough job
✅ Can be flexible with working hours

It’s a busy time of year at Wight Coaches, so Bernie has been called in once again to lend a paw! 🐾🚌

Here he is pictured before helping us clean one of our minibuses between trips, followed by a well-earned rest with his paws up at the front of one of our coaches.

We’re not entirely sure how much cleaning Bernie actually got done, but luckily the rest of the team were there to pick up the slack! 🐶💙

One of our 16-passenger minibuses pictured at Brading Roman Villa, while driver Adrian was taking a group on a tour of the Isle of Wight. ☀️

It’s always a pleasure to work closely with Brading Roman Villa, a fascinating and popular attraction for visitors of all ages.

As access can be difficult for larger coaches, our minibuses are the perfect solution, allowing us to collect groups directly from nearby hotels and provide a convenient door-to-door service to the Villa.

🇫🇷 Bonjour from Paris! 🗼

We’ve got two coaches in Paris this week, transporting pupils and staff from St Blasius Shanklin CE Primary Academy and Lanesend Primary School (Official) on their school adventures.

Ben and Prem are are the drivers of our 57 seat executive coach pictured here, while Darren and Paul are behind the wheel of our 51 seat executive coach, looking after the pupils from St Blasius.

Both groups have a packed itinerary, including a visit to Parc Astérix, a cruise along the River Seine and plenty of Paris sightseeing.

With temperatures reaching around 40°C in Paris, the air conditioning is certainly being put to good use and keeping everyone cool and comfortable throughout their travels! ☀️❄️🚌

As always, it was a pleasure to be involved in The Holiday Shop's Summer Group Organiser Weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many group organisers and helping showcase everything that makes the Isle of Wight such a special destination.
