Two beautiful hotels in Baja Sardinia, offering very different ways to experience this part of Italy 🇮🇹

Hotel La Bisaccia has a more traditional Sardinian feel — calm, understated and all about the views. It’s ideal for couples or relaxed families who value atmosphere, location and a slower pace.

7Pines Resort Sardinia, on the other hand, feels modern and design-led. Think polished spaces, high-end service and a more contemporary Mediterranean resort vibe — perfect for those wanting a luxury feel with a bit more buzz.

Neither is “better” — it really comes down to how you want your holiday to feel.

If you were choosing between the two, which would you pick and why?

Behind the scenes ✨

I’m now accredited with easyJet holidays and Jet 2 Holidays, alongside other trusted tour operators - which means more choice, more flexibility, and more ways to build the right trip for you.

From family-friendly resorts and city breaks to longer-haul escapes, being accredited with multiple suppliers allows me to compare options, routes, and inclusions - not just prices - and package holidays around what actually matters to you.

It’s all part of making sure your holiday fits you, not the other way around.

More destinations, more options, one point of contact.

Sardinia is one of Italy’s most diverse islands — crystal-clear waters, rich history, and food you won’t find anywhere else 🇮🇹

Think white-sand beaches like Costa Smeralda, the turquoise lagoons of La Maddalena, and the shallow, Caribbean-style waters at Cala Brandinchi (often called Little Tahiti).

Food is a huge part of the experience here — fresh seafood, handmade culurgiones pasta, traditional porceddu, and local Cannonau wine, one of Sardinia’s most famous exports 🍷

Beyond the beaches, there’s real depth: medieval streets in Cagliari’s Castello district, ancient Nuraghe stone towers, and the Catalan-influenced old town of Alghero.

Perfect for couples, food lovers, and anyone looking for a more relaxed, authentic Italian escape.

Morocco has been coming up a lot lately - and this is a great example of why it’s such a popular choice for families.

Pickalbatros Aqua Fun Club Resort, Marrakech is ideal if you’re looking for guaranteed sunshine, plenty to keep everyone entertained, and really strong value for money.

What makes this one work so well is the balance. There’s a huge on-site waterpark with pools, slides and splash zones for all ages, alongside separate pool areas, including a quieter adults-only pool during high season. The hotel also runs shuttles directly into Marrakech, so you can experience the city without the hassle.

Add in all-inclusive dining with both international and Moroccan options, evening entertainment the whole family can enjoy, and a spa area with hammam, sauna and steam room for some proper switch-off time, and it’s easy to see why this resort is such a firm family favourite.

For example, I’ve just priced this at £2,800, based on a family of four flying from Liverpool in late June - down from £4,154.
It’s also available with a low deposit option, making it a really accessible way to secure your summer holiday.

If you’d like me to look at this for different dates, airports or family sizes, just let me know.

This week behind the scenes has looked like very different journeys…

Mexico for colour, culture and adventure.
Italy for slow days, food and history.
Egypt for scale, stories and once-in-a-lifetime moments.
Japan for contrast, calm and curiosity.

Different places. Same starting point — understanding how someone wants their holiday to feel.

If you could drop a pin anywhere in the world, where would you choose — and why?

Morocco has quietly become one of the most talked-about destinations this year - and the appeal goes far beyond the visuals.

It’s a destination full of contrast. Vibrant cities like Marrakech with their riads, souks and historic medinas. The calm of the Atlas Mountains and desert landscapes. Coastal spots such as Essaouira that feel relaxed and understated.

Food is a huge part of the experience - slow-cooked tagines, fresh bread, spices, mint tea and long, sociable meals that make days feel unhurried.

There’s so much to do too: guided medina walks, cooking classes, hammams, desert excursions, mountain villages, and coastal escapes - all very different experiences within one country.

Morocco is also a destination where planning really matters. Where you stay, how you move between places, and how much time you allow can completely shape how the trip feels - especially for families or first-time visitors.

Where would you like me to spotlight next?
Drop a destination below and I’ll add it to the list.

A little behind the scenes this week - I’ve completed my accreditation with TUI.

For clients, this means access to a wide range of well-loved hotels, strong family-friendly concepts, and the reassurance of booking with an established operator - with me handling the planning and details throughout.

I’m always keeping my supplier knowledge up to date so I can offer thoughtful, well-matched recommendations for different families, budgets and travel styles.

If you’re planning a family holiday and want to avoid lots of extra costs once you arrive, this is a really good example of where value can add up.

Rixos Park Belek is an all-inclusive resort that includes complimentary access to Land of Legends and Nickelodeon Land - something that, for a family of five, can easily cost hundreds per day if booked separately.

What’s included:
• All-inclusive dining
• Free Land of Legends + Nickelodeon Land access
• Upgraded Sultan Suite with in-room whirlpool bath (ideal for larger families who want proper space)
• Excellent facilities for both adults and children

As an example, 7 nights from Newcastle for a family of 5 on 4th June is currently available from £4,869 for a family of five, based on an upgraded Sultan Suite with whirlpool bath. The same stay was pricing at £7,016 before applying the available offers - highlighting how different room types and inclusions can have a big impact on overall value.

This is just one example of availability - dates, room types and departure airports can vary, so feel free to message me if you’d like me to take a look for your family.
