7 years ago today I got on an airplane and moved to Scotland. 8 years ago today the idea of moving out of NYC seemed impossible let alone to a whole new country.

I made a little plan for myself in 2017 - settle in, make some friends, find out exactly what a cheeky Nando’s really is, get my citizenship and be back home for good by 2023.

ICYMI, it is almost 2025, so the plan hasn’t exactly worked as I intended. I have big feelings about it that I don’t know what to do with but that’s a problem for another day bc today I’m on an airplane and I’m coming home, not for good and just for a few weeks, but I’m coming home. ✈️ 🤠

(My executive functioning skills are still at an all time low - if you see this pls message me to make plans! And if you’ve already messaged and I’ve not responded I am endlessly apologetic. It will happen. I promise. I am just working with two brain cells and they’re ready to go on strike)

AMERICA, I AM COMING HOME 🤠 🦅 🇺🇸 🎇
IN LESS THAN THREE WEEKS 🫨🫠😶😵‍💫🫣

I am ✨burnt out✨and do not have the emotional capacity or executive functioning necessary to coordinate the way I need to.

I came home for an unexpected week in January 2023 (when these pics were taken) and due to visa issues and a NON STOP 2024 summer I haven’t been back since, this is the longest I have ever been away since I moved. I have a lot of big (and anxious) feelings and am so excited (and overwhelmed).

Please - PLEASE reach out to me. Please go out of your way to make plans with me. I want to see you, I want to see all of you. ALL OF YOU! My brain is beyond fried and I just can’t do the heavy lifting of making it happen.

I will be in Delaware from approximately September 23 - October 5rd and New York from October 6th to October 20th.

(A note - this is a VERY vulnerable thing for me to ask because it feels like a clear opportunity to be rejected, whether directly or indirectly. But I am a very brave, *very* tired young girl of nearly 35 who can face her fears and communicate her need to be loved and supported.

Cant wait to see you. Can’t wait to eat my fav food. Can’t wait to drive a car again. Can’t wait to know all of the songs on the grocery store playlist. Can’t wait to do a USA chant simply bc I can.

I’ve never been more tired and emotional in my whole life. Thank you for seeing me and loving me, for letting me be my fullest self and wanting more. It’s too big to fit in my brain right now so I need a little time to process.

Remember when the picked up a story about me added 10 levels of extra drama and then decided to say my show “could be a flop”?!

WELL if a flop is having 90% audience capacity, over a dozen reviewers give a collective 40+ stars, an award nomination, and meeting dozens (hundreds!?) of incredible people sharing their stories, tears, hearts and hope … then ok - guess it was a flop 💅🏻

That’s it! We’re sold oot! What a way to end this magical three weeks!

If you missed it (or just want to watch again and again) you can buy a ticket to watch it online until August 26th!

You just need to buy the ticket and access the recording link by the 26th, you can then watch whenever and however often you want.

allowing myself the room to dream that my dreams could come true

it is the exact moment before I fill my lungs again
when it hurts my chest and my face is red and my eyes water
when the wish still feels utterly possible

Thank you to the nearly EIGHT HUNDRED people who have already come to find out why I am still like this. I can hardly grasp that number.

What a privilege it is to be able to stand on that stage, in front of all of these people and do something special. I am grateful and humbled to be so loved and believed in.

This entire experience is an endless loop of the highest highs and lowest lows all happening at the same time. It is terrifying and exhilarating and humbling and exhausting and joyful and overwhelming and big and magical.
