We are delighted to announce that McLanachan Transport Limited has officially been granted a Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (Human) (WDA(H)) by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). 🎉

This is a major milestone for our business and an important step forward in our continued growth within the pharmaceutical and healthcare logistics sector.

Being granted a WDA(H) reflects the strength of our quality management systems, our commitment to Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and the dedication of our team to maintaining the highest standards of compliance, quality, and customer service.

This achievement further enhances our ability to provide secure, fully compliant pharmaceutical logistics and controlled ambient warehousing solutions, giving our customers complete confidence that their products are handled with the utmost care and integrity throughout the supply chain.

Almost 4 years ago, we gave our fleet a fresh new look, introducing 17 new vehicles with a modern twist on our iconic amber and yellow colours.

Millions of miles later, they're still going strong and turning heads wherever they go.. the combo of our trucks and trailers is unmissable!

We're proud to be sponsoring the GHA Rugby Club for the 2026/27 season 🏆

As one of Scotland's largest rugby clubs, GHA is home to a thriving rugby community, fielding three competitive senior squads that compete at some of the highest levels of Scottish rugby 🏉

The club also boasts an outstanding youth programme, with more than 600 boys and girls aged 5–18 taking part in its successful minis and midis section, helping to develop the next generation of players.

Off the pitch, GHA continues to make a real difference through its strong community focus, supporting local and national charities with initiatives such as its food bank and fundraising events, including the annual Ladies' Day and pre-match lunches, which raise vital funds for charities such as Prostate Scotland.
