The Castro Hotel and Suites is a traditional, family-owned hotel ideal for relaxation, located on the east side of the island. The outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by tropical gardens and has a section for children that will give you beautiful moments of relaxation under the warm Mediterranean sun. In the evenings guests can take a stroll to the cosmopolitan beach of Kamari offering a wide selection of traditional restaurants, café, bars, shops and even an open-air cinema theatre. A bus stop is located just 350 metres from the hotel, for guests who wish to use public transport around the island.

🍹The friendly vibe of the Eleni Apartments proves you don’t have to buy a million-dollar, rock-star hideaway to enjoy the pleasures of Pefkos. Guitarist and singer Dave Gilmour is among those who have fallen for the charms of the resort, and once owned an art nouveau property there, still sometimes referred to on Rhodes as ‘the Pink Floyd mansion’. However, for families and couples seeking pleasant, flexible, affordable accommodation in an attractive area, the Eleni Apartments provide the ideal base in a peaceful location with a stunning backdrop of rocky hills. The apartments, renowned for friendly staff, have their own lovely pool area with a poolside bar serving food and drinks throughout the day, while a tavern that serves meals opens in the evenings. There are several beaches on your to choose from in the area, and the nearest, only a five-minute walk, is the small beach of Cavos, which is popular for snorkelling and has rocky areas for relaxing as well as sunbeds. The busier main beach, Lee Beach, is 15 minutes away, while Plakia Beach is a longer, but quieter stretch. St Thomas is a lovely spot where fishing boats moor and Arkeftas is also rocky but peaceful and attractive.
