A clients bear, early Farnell, another revision of a poor ‘restoration’. Taken the bear back to much more original true to type features, using vintage glass eyes and vintage nose thread. Even original holes were used for the mouth but amazing what a difference this makes to the look and value of the bear.

Sometimes the amount of time put into preserving the bear does not show, this is the case here. This ‘sleep with’ Teddy has had each panel of fabric lined and then oversewn by hand to make her last a lot longer and be much more robust. She may not be like new perfect but she’s how her owner loves her.

From antique collectables to 1980’s ‘sleep withs’ Matron tackles them all, each are as important to their owner.
