Today marks the end of 💙

You may or may not know that I’ve struggled with my own mental health over the past 8 years or so. There have been times where I’ve looked absolutely fine on the outside while internally feeling completely drained… physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted, like I had absolutely nothing left to give anyone.😔

And I know I won’t be the only person who’s ever felt like that.🫂

One of the most important things I ever did was recognise that something wasn’t right in the thoughts and feelings I was having… and ask for help instead of trying to carry it all on my own.😶‍🌫️

Life gets heavy sometimes. Work pressure, family stuff, health worries, the cost of living, trying to be everything for everyone all at once…it’s a lot.😵‍💫

Sometimes it can feel like you’re constantly giving little pieces of yourself away until there’s barely anything left for you.🧩

Over the years, I’ve learnt what helps me reset and calm my mind when I’m struggling. Sometimes that’s a walk (love a walk in the rain), the gym, a good chat, a cry in the shower 😂, or simply reminding myself that 'this too shall pass'.

Not every struggle is visible, not everyone will ask for help, and sometimes people just need someone to listen.

So please remember to be kind to yourself as well as other people. Check in with the people you care about, and if you’re struggling, please know you’re definitely not alone.🫶🏻

I got married in Cyprus and a little piece of my heart has stayed there ever since. 🇨🇾 🫶

My love for the island actually started way back in 2001 when I first visited Limassol with my Dad and since then, I’ve been lucky enough to go back another four times with every trip holding such special memories. ✨

Although in typical 'Stacey fashion*… that very first trip to Cyprus also ended with me getting appendicitis on the LAST day of the holiday and being rushed to hospital, which is probably why I’m now so passionate about people having proper travel insurance!😂👀✈️

In 2005, 18 year old me and my Mum headed to Ayia Napa where I very much lived my best boozy holiday life in foam parties and bar crawls.🍹😂

Then came my wedding in 2011, where 38 of us descended upon the beautiful Nissi Beach. 2 weeks of sun, sea, sand, karaoke, cocktails and special memories to last a lifetime at the Nissi Beach Resort • Nissi Beach • Cyprus !💍🌊

A big family holiday to Protaras followed in 2013, and then a girls trip to Peyia in 2016 full of sunshine, laughs and cocktails. ☀️💃

Looking back through these photos has made me realise it’s now been TEN years since my last visit which honestly feels mad… I’m definitely overdue a return trip to Cyprus.😭✈️

If you've never visited Cyprus, the beaches are stunning, the food is incredible, and the people are some of the kindest and most welcoming I’ve ever come across. 💙

It’s one of those places that just keeps pulling you back, and tbh…I'm trying to twist hubby's arm for a cheeky vow renewal soon!😍👀🤞

⚠️ Unpopular opinion: all-inclusive holidays are SO much better when someone else does all the planning for you 😏✈️
