We’d rather find a headlight alignment issue in the workshop than have it discovered at MOT.

That’s why we’ve installed DVSA approved headlight beam testing equipment across all three HTS workshops in Runcorn, Teeside and Hull, allowing our technicians to check and adjust beam alignment while the vehicle is already with us.

It’s just one more way Hutchinson Technical Services prevent avoidable failures and downtime, and keep customers’ vehicles working.

Three IRTE accredited workshops. 30 technicians and direct access to the experts looking after your fleet.

Across Middlesbrough, Hull and Runcorn, Hutchinson Technical Services offers the capacity and specialist capability of a larger workshop network, with the direct contact, care and accountability you expect from a good independent.

Our teams handle planned inspections, servicing, MOT preparation, diagnostics and repairs, alongside tanker, trailer and specialist vehicle work.

We maintain Hutchinson’s own working fleet as well, so our technicians deal every day with inspection schedules, unexpected defects and the pressure to get vehicles safely back into service.

For vehicles under a regular HTS maintenance agreement, we also back our MOT preparation. If we prepare and present a vehicle and it fails, we cover the retest fee and the technician time to present it again.

Our next edition of the Outdoor Club will be a short walk in and around the lovely village of Great Ayton on Sunday 5th July 2026.

Those that know the area will hopefully be aware of the famous ice-cream shop Suggitt’s, which will be a well needed highlight of the route🍦
