Thesignallingguy Chris McGrory is an expert in UK Signalling, on a mission to teach as many people about it as possible.

Chris McGrory is a Signalling Engineer with 25 years in the industry. Like many Signalling people, Chris is passionate about his discipline. He has dedicated most of his time to Signalling design, but also has extensive experience in Testing & Maintenance. In addition to managing and delivering design, Chris has extensive experience as a tutor and mentor.
“What I love about Signalling is, it’s so crucial to keeping our railways safe and efficient….and it can be so simple!”

Chris realised that loadsa of people love railways but very few know anything about Signalling, let alone the finer details...and he's set out to teach them with his alter-ego The Signalling Guy.

Great, chill event, with lovely guests organised by at the gorgeous , who were pure sound, looking after us all!

One of my many non-work detours which delights my poor Wife...couldn't pass up a few snaps of this movie star!!!

This carriage appeared in Mission Impossible- Dead Reckoning, Part 1 with Tom Cruise running over the top of it, before it was plunged Into a quarry, then rescued and taken to Pitlochry....also smells AMAZING...even though, I just finished 2 courses across the road 🤣

Went looking for some nice Signalling, but Pitlochry is colour light, nothing too saucey...although it is controlled from Stanley Junction, about 25 miles away...a fair old jaunt for a box of that vintage [although a few technicalities apply]!

Nice B Listed lattice bridge for you there, if that's ur thing too. 😄
