My very first ‘brew with a view’ pic, 9 years ago at the The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong

I loved this hotel for loads of reasons but the view was something else. The hotel sits on top of the International Commerce Centre which means even the lobby is 103 floors up - your ears pop in the lift! Because of this every room and suite is at least 490m above sea level and comes with spectacular views, as do the many amazing restaurants on offer (2 of them with 3 Michelin Stars between them), it’s also home to the highest bar in the world - 118 floors up. Special mention for the service too, some of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. What a place to enjoy a brew!

Top tip - if you’re visiting Hong Kong stay on Kowloon Island so you get a full view of the HK skyline from across the water.

No filter, just Amsterdam doing its thing.

I can’t believe I’d never been, within an hour of walking around the canals I was thinking ‘I could definitely live here’ - although that is fairly standard for me in a pretty European city!

24 hours was definitely not long enough so I’ll be back - and not soon enough.

Two years since my first time in Africa, all the memories are coming up on my phone at the moment and I’m in danger of booking another visit!

I was there was 10 days and probably didn’t even see 1% of what’s on offer. But there were some serious bucket list moments;

✨ Swimming in Devil’s Pool at the top of Victoria Falls
✨ Flying over Victoria Falls in a helicopter
✨ Doing the worlds high zip line
✨ Dinner & drinks watching the sunset on the Zambezi river
✨ Seeing animals in the wild for the first time
✨ A traditional South African braai in the heart of the Kruger
✨ Watching wild elephants drink out of my pool whilst I enjoyed a cup of tea on the terrace

Every single day of this trip was utterly magical and if you are considering an African adventure I cannot recommend it enough. But it’s a very big place with lots and lots of choice so if you want some help putting together the perfect itinerary for you get in touch.

Very excited to be invited to visit the MarBella hotels in Greece later this month. The group is made up of 4 beautiful 5 star hotels which I’ll be showcasing over the next week, but I’m starting with what I feel is the jewel in the crown - the incredible MarBella Elix Hotel on the Greek mainland in Parga.

If you like your hotels with sea views this one delivers from practically every vantage point, perched on the hillside it benefits from panoramic blues almost everywhere you look, and if you’re wanting to bathe in the crystal clear waters the hotel features a funicular railway that carries guests down the wooded hillside toward the white sands of Karavostasi Beach.

I can’t wait to experience this hotel firsthand and I’ll be coming to you with all the content whilst I’m there 💙

Beautiful pics from one of my new favourite resorts, the fabulous Zel Punta Cana

Zel is a collaboration between the always brilliant Melia Hotels and Spanish tennis legend Rafa Nadal, and this is their first resort outside of the Mediterranean. The brand is modelled after the relaxed, outdoor culture and active lifestyle typical of the Mediterranean, and focuses on active well being, open air living, and tasty local food.

This was a multi generational trip for 10 adults and kids and worked perfectly for everyone, with plenty of activities on offer including access to a huge waterpark and kids club at the sister hotel next door. The food was also a highlight with fresh, authentic food served up at a range of included à la carte restaurants.

If, like me, you always thought the Dominican Republic wasn’t for you - this might be the resort to change your mind.
