Anavio is a charming 45ft semi-traditional stern narrowboat built for a comfortable and quiet cruising experience on the waterways.
You may be surprised, as the reliable and regularly maintained Beta 38 engine effortlessly propels Anavio through the water, that your cruising experience is far quieter than you perhaps expected. A recently installed hospital silencer, and a rubber Centaflex coupling lend themselves to significantly reduced engine and drive noise – some passersby have mistaken the boat to be of an electric propulsion system!
The 12 volt electrical system batteries are charged by a 12 volt 70 amp alternator while you are enjoying cruising. Once moored-up and connected to shoreline, you can have confidence that the recently installed Victron battery charger will keep your batteries topped up and ready-to-cruise on. If you are ever in doubt, you can check the Bluetooth Victron battery monitor to keep an eye on your battery charge.
A brilliant length for manoeuvrability, Anavio can take you all over the canal system as you enjoy a sociable cruise on the ample space provided by seating in the semi-traditional stern area. You can expect some heads to turn owing to her beautiful finish that was fully stripped back to bare steel, and then fully repainted in 2024 – so you can be sure that you are cruising with style. Once you are moored up in a scenic location, you will step through two beautifully crafted oak stable doors, fitted in 2024, to take in the scenery on one of the two bow seats. Upon heading back into the boat to get some restful sleep, you can seamlessly pull out the spacious Sofabed Barn click clack double sofa bed that can comfortably sleep two adults, ready for your next day of exploring the waterways!
