Antiques for an Austrailian pub🍻

In September, Lysander's Liverpool office coordinated the delivery of a container of antique items from the UK to Austrailia.

The cargo consisted of lots of vintage furniture, paintings, and mirrors, being sent to Austrailia to furnish a new pub.

Our team coordinated the pick up, packing, and loading of the items at Felixstowe, where they were successfully shipped to Brisbane, ready for a new life on the other side of the world!

BESS update: Shanghai > Foynes 🚢⚡

Following our safe discharge of BESS units in Newcastle over the August Bank Holiday, the ship continued its voyage onwards to Foynes, Ireland, to discharge a further 52 BESS and 32 units of spare parts.

Our team oversaw and coordinated the project, which included arranging a crane to ensure the cargo was loaded safely and efficiently onto flatbed containers, ready for shipment.

Yet again, we ensured one of our colleagues was at port to supervise the further discharge for the second consignee.

Bank Holiday BESS operation⚡

Last weekend in Newcastle, we were responsible for the safe discharge of 72 Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and 26 units of spare parts that had arrived from Shanghai.

Naturally, Lysander staff were onsite and onboard, ensuring everything went to plan.

The operation was completed on time and in less than a day and a half over the Bank Holiday Weekend. Another satisfied customer!

This month, Lysander coordinated the cross-continent shipment of a 68 tonne slag pot carrier.

The vehicle was loaded onto a RO/RO vessel at Bremerhaven, Germany, and successfully shipped to Pyeongtaek, Korea, for another satisfied customer.

Our Liverpool office recently completed a major logistics operation, arranging for the collection of 45000 tonnes worth of steel pipes from Hartlepool.

The shipment, which consisted of 1800 full truck loads, was spread across 13 voyages, and successfully transported to Hartlepool for export.

This job required meticulous planning, coordination and communication from the Lysander team, proving again that there's no job too big for us!

Cross-continent cargo: Bulgaria to Montreal🚛🚢

This week, the team from Lysander's Genoa office organised the logistics of five turbines from Bulgaria to Montreal, via the Port of Genoa.

Each turbine was collected by truck in Bulgaria, and transported to Genoa where we arranged the stuffing. From Genoa, we managed the Ocean Freight leg of the journey to Montreal.

This multimodal project required careful planning at every step, expertise we're proud to offer.

Physio equipment from Korea 💪📦

Lysander recently organised the delivery of specialist physio equipment from Korea to the UK. The shipment consisted of three separate pieces of cargo, each delivered to a different central UK location.

Thorough timing and planning were especially important for this job, as we coordinated with the engineer to ensure each piece of equipment could be installed upon arrival.

Another routinely exceptional job done.

Earlier this week, Lysander arranged a shipment of a container full of caskets from Nottingham to Canada.

It was important to us that great consideration was taken with this delivery, and our team ensured that the caskets were moved professionally and carefully and from door to door.
