Today British Cycling is launching Sofa to Saddle – a free, 8 week programme to help more people discover the joy of cycling. GCI is proud to support this initiative.

The free to use app provides practical guidance, builds confidence and tackles many of the barriers that stop people getting on a bike.

Research shows that people who cycle at least once a week are 37% more likely to feel good about themselves, while 79% say cycling helps clear their head and 58% feel calmer and more relaxed.

This is an important issue and one that's been rumbling on for a while now. The media has got to stop referring to illegal motorbikes as ebikes. Its inaccurate and incredibly damaging.
