A Taste of Glencolmcille Folk Village with Dermot O'Leary

Glencolmcille Folk Village has enjoyed fantastic television exposure this year, featuring in Dermot O'Leary's A Taste of Ireland.

You can catch up with Dermot's visit to the Folk Village on ITVX Player (Series 2, Episode 7), where he joins up with the folk village’s Marie McGinley to learn how to make traditional Carrageen Moss pudding and takes a walk through the Folk Village with Margaret Rose Cunningham and Ronan Doherty.

We look forward to welcoming Margaret Rose, Marion Carr and all our friends at the Glencolmcille Folk Village to the Vintage Day in September and hearing all about this amazing visit.

The LIVC is delighted to announce that Johnny Brady and his band will be taking to the stage at this year's Vintage Day. A firm favourite with our audience, Johnny is no stranger to the event, having last performed here in 2018.

Renowned for one of the most distinctive voices in modern country music, Johnny Brady has earned a loyal following through his powerful vocals, high-energy performances, and natural stage presence. Blending traditional country influences with a fresh, contemporary style, he continues to push the boundaries of Irish country music while staying true to himself.

"I can't be anybody other than myself," says Johnny. "Wearing suits with rhinestones just isn't me."

Over the past fifteen years, Johnny has toured extensively across Ireland and the UK, building a reputation as one of the country's most popular live performers. His genuine connection with audiences and hit-filled show guarantees an unforgettable afternoon of entertainment for Vintage Day visitors of all ages.

We look forward to welcoming Johnny and his band back to the LIVC stage for what promises to be another fantastic performance.

The London Irish Vintage Club extend their heartfelt sympathy to the Collins family on the sad passing of Sean Collins (RIP).

Sean was a valued and long-time supporter of our Vintage Day and proudly took part in the very first Road Run from Westminster in 2011. Both Sean and his late wife, Eileen, were familiar and much-loved faces at our Vintage Days over the years. Their presence, warmth, and continued support meant a great deal to the Vintage Club.

May his gentle soul rest in everlasting peace.
