They say true happiness lies at sea. This 18 day Pacific passage might just prove it. Sailing Baja California to Costa Rica.

Departing from the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez and heading south through the eastern Pacific, from the desert landscapes of Baja California to the tropical coastlines of Central America.

This is a true bluewater passage, focused on meaningful offshore sailing, extended time at sea and the rewarding rhythm of long-distance passage-making.

The voyage takes place aboard a 72ft steel sailing vessel originally built for one of the world’s most demanding around-the-world yacht races.

Departing this October, will you be on board? Find the full details via our website linked in bio ⛵️ or drop a hi in the comments and we can DM you a link

Would you cross the North Atlantic under sail?

Picture leaving behind the colourful harbour of Horta, one of the world’s great sailor gathering places and setting course for the Scottish Highlands.

This is a true offshore passage where days are shaped by rotating watches, changing weather systems and life on board.

You’ll become part of the guest crew, taking the helm, standing watches, trimming sails and learning traditional seamanship while experiencing the unique satisfaction of making a landfall after nearly two weeks at sea.

📍 Few places on the planet stop you in your tracks quite like Greenland.

Ice-free fjords framed by towering granite walls and glaciers, incredible wildlife including musk oxen, Arctic hare, grouse and seabirds and remote landscapes where human history is barely a footnote.
...And in 2027 one of our favourite ships will be returning for a summer of expedition sailing, with an eight-day expedition which sails from Iceland into the wild fjord systems of East Greenland, navigating deep into Scoresby Sound - the largest fjord system in the world, before returning to Reykjavik.

Step aboard a traditionally rigged expedition sailing ship and spend a concentrated week navigating ice-filled fjords, landing ashore by zodiac, hiking in landscapes shaped by ice and time, and watching for Arctic wildlife.

…sailing it ⛵

Every year, thousands of travellers pack the car and set off to explore one of Britain's most celebrated road trips. But instead of following the coastline from layby to layby, imagine tracing the same spectacular route under sail.

There is a 35-day sailing expedition that does exactly that. Inspired by the famous North Coast 500 but experienced from an entirely different perspective. Beginning and ending in Largs, the voyage heads north through the Hebrides, rounds the wild northwest coast, passes Cape Wrath, explores the Orkney Islands and returns via the remarkable Caledonian Canal.

Arriving in colourful fishing villages from the water. Anchoring beneath towering sea cliffs. Exploring secluded bays that can't be reached by road. Watching Scotland's rugged coastline unfold exactly as generations of sailors have experienced it.

Same coastline but a completely new adventure.

📍Update 📍 The 2027 expedition is now fully booked... but there are still opportunities to join them sailing the NC500 in 2028, or Island-hopping Scotland’s wild west coast in July 2027.

⛺ Is there a better feeling than brushing your teeth under a sky full of stars?!

These shots are a glimpse into life on an Alaskan overland adventure. One day might be spent hiking through wild landscapes, the next paddling a canoe on a quiet lake or scanning the shoreline for bears and moose. The distances are big, the scenery is bigger, and the sense of adventure is hard to match.

"An email from Larissa at Another World Adventures landed in my inbox, promising Finnish sun (it sounded like an oxymoron to me) and the Baltic, where I swam on a family holiday in Poland many moons ago. I was overwhelmed by the serendipity of it all. A friendly chat with the skipper, and there was very little room left for any doubts about what to do and where I wanted to be that summer."

📍🌍 Where in the world?... This 100+ year old classic family-run wooden brigantine is currently sailing somewhere pretty special.

It's a UNESCO World Heritage-listed archipelago, shaped by volcanic activity and steeped in history having been inhabited for over 6,000 years.

Any guesses?

⛵ They are currently sailing the “Aeolian Islands” or “Isole Eolie” in the Tyrrhenian Sea. Named after Aeolus, the god of the wind who, according to Greek legend, once lived here.

It's a magical location that threads together culture, history and adventure, and island-hopping on a hands-on sailing voyage is one hell of a way to experience it.

They have one voyage left on their 2026 sailing schedule... and their 2027 schedule is coming soon, make sure to drop a follow to find out when it's live. 📍

Did you know Antarctica season is just four months away?

From December 2026 - February 2027 this Dutch tall ship will be heading back to Antarctica.

Departing from Ushuaia, they will first take on the infamous Drake Passage before sailing into the Antarctic Convergence Zone.

From there, each day brings small group landings by dinghy into sheltered bays, penguin rookeries and glaciers, and the further south you go, the greater the chance of whales joining the journey.

It's a hands-on voyage but there is no previous sailing experience needed, the professional crew will be on hand to teach you everything you want to know.

Find a deeper connection to one of the most extraordinary places on the planet by travelling the slow way.
