Join me on an unforgettable motorcycle journey as I leave the seaside charm of Aberystwyth, carving through some of the most scenic and winding roads Wales has to offer. With the mountains in my mirrors and adventure ahead, I make a delicious pit stop at the historic Craig Carren Castle to indulge in a classic Welsh rarebit lunch – cheesy, hearty, and full of local flavor. From there, I continue south toward Tenby, where I check in at the peaceful Meadow Farm Campsite, perched perfectly above the town with breathtaking views of the coastline. As the day winds down, I explore Tenby Beach, sharing a few heartfelt reflections in the golden light. No visit to Tenby is complete without a walk up to Tenby Castle, a small but significant 12th-century fortress with Norman roots, offering panoramic views of Carmarthen Bay. Did you know Tenby Castle once guarded the town from Viking invasions?
