High volume weekend. In every sense. 🎸🎤🍻

Proud to have been part of Desertfest London 2026, keeping the beer flowing at The Blackheart in Camden, part of the Graceland pub group. A huge weekend organised by Desertscene, with Lost & Grounded Brewers as the official beer partner.

Here's what Aimee at Lost & Grounded had to say:
"Desertfest went amazingly well. All deliveries arrived on time, smoothly and professionally. Tap'In were very accommodating to specific requests, such as one-off weekend collections, and adaptable to last-minute requests such as urgent empty collections. Tap'In were very communicative around the planning and preparation of the logistics and overall helped us deliver a professional and high-quality service and deliver a considerable amount of beer over one of our busiest weekends in London."

Thank you to Aimee and the team at Lost & Grounded, and to Desertfest London and blackheartcamden for having us involved.

Growing brewery. London and South East accounts on your radar. Need to grow but not sure about adding more fixed cost?

Whether you are already running vans or looking to set up in the region, a dedicated vehicle and driver typically costs upwards of £30,000 a year. And you carry all the risk: a breakdown or a sick day, and your accounts don't get served that week.

Tap'In 3PL is the London and South East operation you don't have to build or expand:

-Dedicated fleet delivering to pubs and venues across the region, Tuesday to Friday
-Keg collection and washing service
-If a driver calls in sick or a van breaks down, we cover it
-Volume-based pricing from 3,500L per month

Your beer. Our boots on the ground.

Message us to find out if it works for your volume.

When your London route plan starts relying on one van too many, you're risking more than just delivery delays.

If a single van breaks down or faces traffic, your whole schedule can fall apart, costing you time, money, and client trust.

At Tap'in 3PL, we understand that overdependence on one vehicle creates a fragile logistics network. That's why we operate with a resilient fleet of 10 dedicated vans on London routes, providing redundancy and flexibility to keep deliveries on track every day.

Our approach means you never have to worry about one van holding up your entire operation. Instead, you gain peace of mind knowing your London deliveries and barrel washing services will continue without interruption, even during peak demand or unexpected challenges.

If your route plan feels stretched too thin, it's time to consider a specialist partner who scales with your business and removes the risk of single-vehicle reliance. What a Bank Holiday.

Tuesday was Tap'In's biggest day on record. 240+ orders/picks, 42.5 tonnes delivered across London and the South East in a single day.

London and the South East love a Bank Holiday, and the venues delivered. It was a brilliant reminder of just how much life there is in the local drinks scene.

Massive thank you to the Tap'In team for making it happen. 🙌🍺

Are your in-house deliveries actually costing you more than you think?

Running your own logistics might feel like the cheaper option, but the hidden costs tell a different story. Fleet upkeep, driver wages, storage, and downtime can quietly eat into your margins.

And the real challenge is this: those costs stay fixed, even when demand drops.

More breweries are now switching to flexible logistics models to turn those fixed costs into scalable ones.

If you’re not 100% sure what your delivery cost per litre is, it might be time to take a closer look.

Message us for a quick, no-pressure cost comparison.

Think in-house logistics is the cheaper option?

It often feels that way at first.

But from what we see working with breweries across London and the South East, the hidden costs can quickly build up.

Running your own deliveries means:

• Paying for vans whether they are busy or not
• Managing drivers and covering holidays or sickness
• Dealing with route planning and last-minute changes
• Handling issues when things go wrong

Those costs do not reduce when orders slow down.

That is where it becomes difficult to scale efficiently.

Outsourcing logistics allows you to turn those fixed costs into something flexible, based on what you actually deliver.

With Tap’in, that includes:

• Next-day delivery into London
• Keg collection and washing
• A setup designed to grow with your business

It takes the pressure off your team and helps protect your margin as you grow.

If you are weighing up your options, happy to share what we are seeing across the market.

Scaling a brewery sounds great… until the costs start piling up.

More orders should mean more profit, right?

But in reality, it often means:
🚐 More vans
👷 More drivers
🍺 More kegs
💷 More costs

And when things quieten down after a busy period… those costs are still there.

We’re seeing more and more brewers look for ways to grow without locking themselves into fixed overheads.

Things like:
✔️ Flexible delivery support
✔️ Next-day drops into London
✔️ Keeping kegs circulating instead of buying more

It’s not about doing everything differently.
It’s about making growth work for you, not against you.

If you’re feeling this at the moment, you’re definitely not the only one.

Avoidable mistakes in busy on-trade drops can cost your drinks business time, money, and reputation.

That's why a drinks-only delivery model is a game changer. When your logistics partner focuses exclusively on beverages, every delivery is handled with specialist knowledge. Drivers understand cellar drop nuances, venue expectations, and the importance of accuracy under pressure.

Take London's craft breweries for example. Those using Tap'In 3PL's drinks-only delivery experience fewer failed deliveries and order errors during peak hours. Our dedicated fleet of vehicles deliver kegs and cases as well Monday through Friday, every week. This focused approach reduces mix-ups that happen when drinks are bundled with other freight.

The result? Less firefighting, more happy accounts and a stronger brand reputation.

For your brewery or beverage brand, partnering with a drinks-specialist 3PL means you get reliable next-day delivery designed to handle the unique challenges of on-trade drops. You avoid costly mistakes that come from juggling mixed loads and generalist couriers.

What's your biggest delivery challenge during busy periods? Share your experience in the comments and let's discuss solutions that work.

Most growing breweries hit this problem. Are you there yet?

Scaling your brewery shouldn’t mean killing your margins.

But for a lot of UK brewers right now, it does.

You finally get the growth you’ve been working towards…
More orders. More venues. More kegs going out.

Then the costs hit 👇

1. Fuel keeps rising
2. National Insurance increases
3. You need more vans
4. You need more drivers
5. You need more kegs

So you invest.

Because you have to.

But here’s the problem no one talks about:

Peak season doesn’t last.

- The World Cup ends.
- Summer slows down.
- Orders level off.

And suddenly you’re left carrying:

1. Idle vehicles
2. Underused staff
3. Excess kegs
4. Fixed costs that don’t go away

👉 This is where margin quietly disappears.

The breweries scaling best right now aren’t building more fixed cost.

They’re building flexibility into their logistics.

A lot of the brewers we work with don’t replace their own setup.

They layer in support when they need it:

1. Extra delivery capacity during peak
2. Next-day drops into London
3. Help with difficult venues (no pallet drops, cellar deliveries)
4. Regular empty keg collections to keep stock moving

All without adding vans, drivers or long-term overhead.

The shift is simple:

From fixed cost → variable cost
From capacity limits → scalable delivery
From operational stress → flexibility

And commercially, that shows up in one place:

👉 £ per delivered litre

When that number goes down, your business becomes easier to scale.

You don’t lose control.
You don’t lose venue relationships.

You just stop carrying cost you don’t need 12 months of the year.

If you’re planning for summer, events, or your next growth phase…

Ask yourself this:

Are we scaling volume…
or just scaling cost?

Let's have a quick chat to understand your setup and see if it’s worth exploring further.
