In our next clip from our interview with we discuss how every step we take is raising awareness and vital funds for educational projects in Nepal, creating opportunities for children thousands of miles away

We are supporting the to promote their "Inspire & Educate" mission and raise some money for their good causes. As educators, our travels to remote locations have shown us the struggles many children have to access education. Inspired by and the remarkable children we've met in these locations, this partnership is a perfect fit for our journey.

Please help us spread the word of the foundation by telling your friends, family, colleagues and strangers about our project and if you can donate to help us hit our goal of £12000 head over to our Go-Fund-Me page to help us fund 3 scholarships for children in this region.

Ohhhh crap.... our flight delayed by 1 hour 5 minutes from Mumbai to London..

Wait thats a benefit... and has just improved our travel experance... thanks to

We fly alot and smetimes flights get delayed.. thats part of flying but being a member of Travel Zoo meant we could finally do something we’ve never actually done before (dispite our 100s of flights) we have got airport lounge access.

We signed up to Travelzoo last year, and this was our first real chance to try one of the perks.. this one time has made the £30 worth it as it gives us 4 passes to a lounge which would have cost near on £100.

With a delay like this, it turns a frustration into a bit of a win.

Travelzoo isn’t just about lounges. It’s packed with genuinely good-value deals on hotels, holidays, and experiences with the kind of trips we’re already booking, just smarter and often cheaper.

For £30 a year with honestly no catches, it feels like one of those simple upgrades that actually makes travel better.

Visited the cremation ghats in Kathmandu today.

A humbling place but definitely not one for the faint-hearted.

The smell of burning bodies hangs heavy in the air, thick, smoky, slightly sweet and unmistakable (like burning hair)… it stays with you long after you leave.

We were not expecting to see cremations as we had read they only happen at night and we had gone to the site to the Bhairava devotees who are Hindu ascetics (sadhus) devoted to Lord Shiva.

On arival we made the call to shield William from seeing anything (he’s only 11) whilst explaining what was happening and why to help him understand, Ben, at 13, was more curious and asked questions as we stood at a respectful distance watching the family's and friends say their final farewell.

It’s raw and real something you take in quietly.

A reminder of how different cultures approach death, and how closely it sits alongside everyday life here.

It felt a little.intrusive but tourists and onlookers are encouraged and there is even a 1000r fee to enter for tourists.

The city of Kathmandu.... its a lot of fun!

We LOVE Kathmandu.... the noise and the traffic is part of its energy but it can get a little much as you explore the city.

You also need to find those little areas of bliss and tranquility which this city has loads of.

It no surprise we will continue to return to this city.. Not just a gateway to the mountains but also as a place we love to spend a good few days exploring.. we have only scratched the surface but it has already given us so much.
