Two bicycles in the work shop on this lovely Easter weekend, boys bike with a whole host of issues, one being that it’s not changing gear , someone’s had a little battle with gravity as the derailleur hanger was bent so out came the alignment tool , got that straight , then a general clean and adjust all over and it’s done ! Ladies Dawes , feeling very loose and not stopping, well everything was very loose , including a front wheel that practically fell out when being put in the van , sort all that out , braking wise it had front brake pads that were upside down and rears that were non existent so sorted fronts and replaced rears then followed up with a quick clean and service and both will be returned for many more fun miles 🚴🚴

My most regular customers GT roadie has been with me again for a wheel issue and a full fettle , this bike does some insanely serious mileage so is with me quite regularly for a service and tweak , I am chuffed that Old Crockers is the chosen company to look after this beast , here’s to many more miles 🚴

Good evening one and all , another busy weekend here , a good few deliveries done for Cherry Red Flowers as it was Mother’s Day , then onto finish the little chaps bike and get that back to him , quite a host of other general workshop bits and pieces and a roof rack fitted on the van as it’s nearly trading time at a good few shows this year and we will need the extra space a rack can give us , before I locked the doors I managed to get started on one of the signs for the back of the van ! Nice 🚴🌹💀

Good evening all , a bit of a busy one for us this weekend , starting with an early trip to the wholesale followed by a large palleted delivery of stock both for Cherry Red ( Old Crockers sister company owned by the wife ) . Then we had a full service along with new tyres , tubes and grip tape on the road bike and made a good start on a little fellows bike that he’s desperate for in time for summer but sadly has been left out in the elements so is rather rusty and seized , nothing we can’t deal with though , while we were at it we squeezed the painting of not one but two mirror caps for customers cars , all in a weekend work ! Before you ask , coffee , yes lots 😁🚴☕️

Another bicycle about to be dropped back , a lovely GT roadie that suffered a broken spoke and consequently a very buckled wheel so had the spoke replaced , wheel trued , a quick fettle and some fresh handlebar tape , now off to hit the road again 🚴

One of a few in this week , this lovely Ribble had a slight argument with the road so needed a bit of a going over but all done now , rides like a dream and along with a new pair of tyres it’s now going to be dropped back to its owner for many more miles , hopefully upright but that bit isn’t down to me 🚴
